Whats New! - Version 2.40 New Commands: Read the book of: You can now have The Talking Bible reads any book in the Bible in its entirety. For example: tap the screen and say Read the book of Proverbs will read the entire book of Proverbs, pausing briefly after each chapter. You can say Read the book of Proverbs starting at chapter 2 will read the entire book of Proverbs starting a Chapter 2. You can also say Read the book of Proverbs starting at chapter 2 verse 3 will read the entire book of Proverbs starting a Chapter 2 Verse 3. Note: The gestures, tap to pause, Right Swipe to stop the reading and Left Swipe to back up the reading 15 seconds work as expected. Next/Previous Verse: After selecting a verse to read, you can now have the Next Verse read by touching the screen and saying Next Verse. If you want to instead have the previous verse read, tap the screen and say Previous Verse. Using these commands you can now step through the Bible repeating scripture verses of interest to you. Set Scriptures Read to: You can now adjust the maximum number of scriptures that are read when searching. The number is no longer fixed at 12, but can be set from 12 to 32. Tap on the screen and say Set Scriptures Read to 24 will change the maximum number of scriptures read in a search request to 24. New Features: Search improvements, search is now more accurate and no longer freezes. Setting page, User Interface improvements. Input View, User Interface improvements.

1. Fix to improvements for long playing scripture requests. 2. Swipe left when scripture is being read will go back 10 seconds. 3. New Voice Commands: * Next Chapter - Advances to the Beginning of Next Chapter and starts Reading. * Previous - Advanced to the Beginning of the Previous Chapter and starts Reading. * Quiet - Turns off the “Tap to Listen” feature prevents “Tapping on the Screen” from starting the process to listen for a command until you “swipe right” on the screen. NOTE: CarPlay support is currently under development!
