  • Predatory billing, beware.

    I tried the app for a week over three months ago and it was not useful to me so I cancelled within the trial service period.

    I was charged $70 again three months later. When I contested, the company stated they have a no refund policy. Then, they proceeded on several gaslighting emails about how I should have known better.

    I have found other apps that help with clear subscription policies. This one is not useful as an app, and is horrible with customer service. It’s is just a finicky money grabbing site. I do not recommend this app.

  • Don’t honor 30 day money back guarantee!

    I wish I could select no stars. No way this app gets 4 stars. The app is not great. It hard to manage and isn’t realistic. They tout having a 30 day money back guarantee but then say when you request it you didn’t read terms and confusions which state only if the app has technical issues can you get your money back. Other than that this company seems hard up for peoples hard earned money. This app is garbage. Don’t buy and def don’t buy thinking you can utilize the 30 day cancellation if you don’t like it.

  • Unsatisfied & Money-Grab

    Tried out this app back at the end of May. I purchased what I thought was a three-month trial for $25. Used it for about two weeks and didn’t really vibe with it. I found it unhelpful and more of a pain than anything else.

    No big deal - $25 home but I tried something new… that is until yesterday I get an email that charged me $69 for the next three months!

    They are saying this is what I signed up for, which I find very hard to believe because I’m a well-educated woman who knows how to read. However, I admit it’s possible that the fine print was there (the email they claim I received was not in my trash box because it’s more than three months ago).

    I requested an immediate refund and they said even though I purchase this in error, and even though I am unsatisfied with the App and NOT actively using in for months now, they will not refund me.

    BUYER BEWARE that even if you are unhappy, or even if you do purchase in error, they will not work with you. I’m assuming this is how they make most of their money. Essentially stealing from unsuspecting people but hiding behind fine print.

    It’s so ridiculous that they won’t just click a button and refund someone who isn’t happy and clearly does not want their product!

  • AI voice

    Only feedback I can say at this point is that using an AI voice to be a soothing meditation voice was a bad call. Very hard to meditate and “reduce stress” during the sessions when all I’m hearing is a fake voice trying to be real and making it very uncomfortable. Would be fine for and automated system that is just to give information, but for actual meditation….prbly not getting the full effect of this since I just want to skip the meditations each time

  • Expensive and buggy

    I think I expected some useful tracking and education. This is just a mindfulness app, and an expensive one at that. I set the reminders and there is no way to turn them off and they pop up at completely random times (midday will sometimes pup up in the morning or middle of the night, for instance). Contacted support and they didn’t seem to understand what I was asking. Try it if you want, but try it out before you get the year subscription, because you CANNOT get your money back. Or stop the reminders, apparently.

  • Disappointed

    I purchased the Mindea app a couple days ago. I’ve completed a Smart Choice that isn’t registering anywhere as completed, which isn’t very motivating and seems to defeat the purpose of the app. When I looked for a spot to report this issue, I discovered that reporting issues was difficult. I also discovered that the price more than doubles after the first month.

  • Beware of auto renewal charges!

    There is no way to sign up without opting into auto renewal and they don’t give you a heads up that they are going to charge you. They won’t give refunds if you decide you don’t like the app and want to cancel.

    As far as the content- there is nothing new or unique that I have found in the app. Thus I didn’t find it useful at all.

  • Cool idea but would love to see some improvements

    Cool idea but would love to see some improvements:

    1. The meditations are not read by a human voice. Not pleasant or relaxing to listen to. A voice actor with a soothing voice would make more sense here.
    2. The majority of the “distractions” from cravings for a female user of the app are stereotypical. Not all of use do our make up or paint our nails to relax. Would be cool if this whole section could be customized.
    3. The emotion tracking for the “help” section doesn’t ofter an option for how I’m actually feeling - this could be less reductionist.

  • Still charging my card after cancelling

    I signed up for the app and it wasn’t for me so I sent an email to cancel and received a confirmation. Now 3 months later they are trying to charge my card again. I emailed saying I already cancelled and received confirmation of that but they are still attempting to charge my card.

  • Unfortunately for them, it seems scammy

    I downloaded. Made login. Waited a while. Received msg stating (with very bad grammar: 1st indication) something like, ‘we’ve successfully designed a personalized plan for you’ (how? I gave no information: 2nd indication). Then below the msg were options to pay. Nope. Gut told me to delete immediately after all that. Sorry not sorry.
