Buyer beware. They will take your credit card and charge you very high fees without your permission

Can’t turn off subscription.

The description says you can manage your subscription in the app settings. There is no way to do this and you will continue to get charged every month.

Garbage

App just repeats the same information from the book, which is trash in the first place. It reads to me as if it is almost entirely AI-generated, with lots of irrelevant or redundant information. In NO way tailored to me or my dog beyond getting to choose the color and putting our names on it. Emailed the company and offered to return my book for a refund because I am so disgusted that I paid $79 for it, but of course they refused. Very poor business practices, nonexistent customer service, I hope others can avoid getting suckered into this nonsense.

Don’t let them steal more money

The book is not personalized, it only includes general content that you can get anywhere. I never subscribed or downloaded the app and still I was charged for 53 dollars “automatic” renewal. I emailed them to get the refund and carelessly responded “We follow a no refund policy, unless the product is proven to be faulty”.

Horrible Experience

I am sure you are excited about this cool book and training app like I was prior to getting our puppy. Neutral opinion, the app has a lot of useful information on it, which is great, but honestly not worth the money. You can find something better for less. Plus - read down…

I had a horrible experience with the service from this company. My book arrived 3 months late due to an error on their end, which took multiple emails and pleads for help for them to finally look into and admit they had a problem. By the time my book finally arrived my puppy had already completed training in puppy school. Wasted money…

To add salt to the wound, I was charged an additional $72 for a 3 month subscription. I double checked prior to being charged that I was not signed up for anything. It does not show up as a subscription on the App Store, or on their app. There is nowhere to easily cancel your subscription, you must email them to cancel, which usually takes about a week to get a response from their team. Assume you are subscribed and just cancel right away. They have repeatedly referred me to their strict “no refund policy”, do not expect any service, compassion or understanding from this company.

Beware of Scammy Practices

I purchased the raising dog book online. I immediately realized that I was automatically subscribed to their app for $20 per month. I did not see that I Egas’s to uncheck a box. I immediately contacted support at raising dog and explained only wanted the book but they refused to refund the subscription. I would avoid this company at all cost.

Multiple dogs

Is there a way to have more than one dog on my yearly subscription plan? I have 3 dogs and would like to have a profile for each of my dogs

Not personalized

I cannot rate the app yet or the quality of the content but what I will say is that I purchased the book-app bundle for a cyber Monday sale and am under the impression that the personalization quiz is simply a marketing tactic to make the material sound more appealing… it sounded appealing to me, at least, compared to other programs I have come across. Anyway, I feel misled because I have no reason to believe that the book is personalized to me and my pup, aside from our names on the title page, because the content inside includes everything, including things that I indicated in the quiz that were irrelevant to us. So, I’m disappointed that I fell for that marketing scheme, but am hopeful that it will be helpful information anyway (and hopefully goes beyond what is common training knowledge) and that I get my moneys worth out of the bundle. I do think it’ll be fun and helpful to document my pup’s daily details of progress and such, helpful in staying accountable and proactive.
