No Choice/No Alternate Storylines

The art style is good, the story is good, but it’s very clear the choices you make don’t lead anywhere but one path. This game advertises that your choices change the game, but they clearly don’t. If they have more than one choice with the 1st daughter, if my choices could actually change the storyline, I’d give it a better rating. Cool art and good idea, it’s just not advertised correctly and that seems to be done on purpose to lure people into paying for the game that wouldn’t have knowing the truth. If the game ever becomes a “make a choice and you’ll get different storylines” game then I’ll play it again.

Illusion of free will

None of the decisions you make have any real impact on the outcome of the game. This ruins the enjoyment and replayability of it. The game lacks depth and for the most part outcomes of actions are very obvious. There is also very little skill involved in decision making / resource management. Not worth paying for - turn your data off and you can play it for free.

Love it! So worth the money

I absolutely loved this game and after finishing it and finding every possible ending and achievement I need more!! Way worth the money.

This game is great. Wish it was free

Issue - Lost Progress

Hi! I paid for the full game, and have been enjoying it so far… The issue I’m now having is that the screen freezes when I press the ‘Continue’ button on the main screen… When I press ‘Load data’ it appears that the past 10 week game files or so have all disappeared… (After the main battle). You can understand that this is a lot of time spent playing the game. Would appreciate if this issue could be resolved. Thanks!

Worth

Fully immersed in this game. Definitely worth the full version!

Super solid

Easy to learn, fun to play, great story, satisfying loop. Easy 5 stars from me.

Some notes for devs if they read this, I think map traversal is a little annoying (having to manually leave an area rather than hit a button) - could be smoother imo.

I also think the way you handle save system encourages save scumming a little bit on a day by day basis - if you want to create a hardcore experience maybe do more autosaves, as the current save system feels like a compromise.

If you’re just a gamer reading this though please don’t let above put you off - it’s great and the story is such a vibe

Played this on my tablet and better on IPhone

It was amazing when I played it on my tablet but I love it now it’s on phone. The story really has a burst of emotion and action. I think my favourite character was Cedani. Amazing work, Noodlecake

A work of art

I don’t know how they did it, but I found myself fully immersed in my little pixel kingdom and family. Emotional highs and lows, difficult decisions and big payoffs. I don’t know if it’s possible to get a ‘perfect’ ending but I will certainly play through again to try. Big shout out to the writers and whoever did the music and sound.
