I usually love opening up FlightRadar24 but this is far more simple and enjoyable to see what planes are flying overhead.

This app is wonderful for sitting in your backyard and spotting planes as they fly around. The altitude scale of the airplane icons is super helpful too; the bigger the plane is on screen, the bigger it’ll appear to us on the ground! Thanks!!Gohome190

I loved the blog post you wrote about this and the history behind this app. Looking up to spot airplanes is one of those things I always did when I was a kid and as an adult I find myself still doing it quite often.
