  • Needs work.

If you’re in North America you probably don’t deal with kilograms.

Weight goal is only in Kilograms.
Make sure your scale is set to kilograms before pairing with app.

App isn’t well organized. Tons of information but can be convoluted to say the least.
  • Horrible setup

Can’t even get the app to send a verification code to email.
  • Bug App

The app keeps crashing. Please fix!
  • App is useless.

I’ve dropped from 218 to 182 in about three months, and I returned my first iHome scale for erratic measurement. My first weight on the new scale- two weeks ago-was 190-ish. My last weight was 182.4. Neither shows up on the app. Yes, I am using the latest update, yes everything g is linked right, etc. it’s a total crock to rock out shedding weight and your app shows I’ve only lost 5 lbs while I’ve dropped 3 times that.

I will not ever as long as I live purchase another iHome product. This is the 3rd or 4th poor Experience I’ve had with products/apps and to be honest, I can get crappy stuff cheaper at a yard sale, so why pay full price plus tax for junk? Not to mention the fact that there is a security no-no you must agree to in order to use the app, if you value privacy, this is not the product for you.

Not to mention that the dates and weights on the app don’t match those on the scale. The app has me continually heavier than my actual weight each day.

I weigh once a day: in the morning after a shower, with an empty bladder, only weighing once so as not to totally mess up this gimmicky app with more than one weighing. In fact, if you weigh more than once daily, the app seems to only record one, and it may or may not be the AM one. This means that the app makes the scale less useful unless you scrap the app and keep your own log- which contradicts the very sales point of the product!
  • Error message

It will not take my hive. You will not take my weight. I’ve changed them from inches to centimeters it will not work that way, and it will take my date of birth. Will be taking it back.
  • DO NOT BUY!!!

I don’t often write reviews but felt compelled to after this horrible experience.

I bought a ‘smart’ scale at Walmart. Total impulse buy and definitely not a smart decision. Hardware wise, it’s actually quite nice. Without a way to connect your phone to the app, it’s just a scale. Trying to do so has turned into far more trouble than it’s worth so I’ll be bringing it back. This wasn’t duet to a lack of effort on my part. From it not sending me a code to it not taking my password, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve tried to get this thing working. The fact that sends (sometimes) a code from a Gmail account should have been a sign. I’ve submit tickets and sent emails but they have all been ignored. Buyer beware. Stay away! - 1 million stars
  • Horrible

Tried a billion passwords and all green flags to say it should be a strong enough password and still can’t get it to work it I have made it send about ten codes to my email as well horrible app
  • Never received email

Been trying to set up the app and connect the scale but I’ve been waiting hours for verification codes that never come
  • Can’t log in

I am having issues logging in to the app
  • Doesn’t work

The scale works, but the app will not send me a code to register and I’ve tried more than one e-mail. There’s no point in this scale if the app doesn’t work, because I can’t use the features (which are only on the app)
