Grab needs revamp

This application needs true 20th century programmers and customer support24/7.
This application does NOT function well many times. I signed up for the family service in Grab Rideshare, so my children could use the app on their respective phones. It worked for 1-month for each of them and now it does not work at all.
I reported the problem, sent an image from their phone and still problem persists, since October 1st 2024. No response from Grabβs customer support to this day. Advanced booking was also a bust. Drivers would show up to my residence 60-90 minutes ahead of schedule and then driver(s) would have a negative attitude.
At this rate, I do not expect much from this application and I will not refer to family or acquaintances. Better to hire a private driver.
I used to be able to load GrabPay from my U.S.-acquired credit cards and to make all my purchases. Now Grab has decided to require an OTP on my credit cards, which is not used by any other business in the Philippines. I understand the need for security, but OTP on a credit card is an unwarranted major hassle. I have had to start buying my food from places that have normal credit systems. I supported Grab for the last 5-yrs., but at this rate of change, I may end my customer service. I do not go around carrying cash everywhere. Itβs not safe.

Pick up from restaurant too slow, orders from mart always cancel
Dislike the ads in the app. Especially the annoying Malaysian snickers ad
I pay for priority delivery, but itβs faster for me to walk to the restaurant and pick it up myself, which is what I did. My food is cooked in five minutes, then I wait thirty minutes for a driver to be assigned. So I walk 5 minutes and pick it up myself, why use grab? When ordering from βMartβ they cancel time after time because drivers arenβt available. Awful experience. I spent three hours ordering over and over yet they always cancel. I will not use grab as it makes my head feel cluttered and disorderly, I hate that unreliable feeling to not know if you will have food and water on that day, despite being organised and paying, relying on grab is a bad idea because you check the app for a hour and then it cancels. Rinse and repeat. Also the app so annoying in how it keeps entering random addresses 500m away. Just use the same address as EVERY OTHER ORDER. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Stop automatically entering bizarre addresses half a kilometer away!!!!!!! π‘π‘π‘π‘ UPDATE I deleted the app mid-order. I donβt want my evening consumed by idiotic apps on my phone. The whole point of using grab is to *save* time and energy, not increase it. I will get my dinner locally instead.

Wait time too long
I think the algorithm of choosing the nearest driver has problem. Itβs insane how you have to wait 7 mins for a grab bike driver to come pick you up while there are tons of drivers nearby.

Tried to rip me off
On 304 THB trip I gave him 1000 THB and he wanted an extra 20TBH and gave me 3 small coin and a couple of 50 βs and a 20 back. When I insisted that was wrong he moved it around once again. No different and then gave me hundreds. Nice car but β¦. I not trust worthy. We usually donβt pay cash but had to since credit card wanted a second code to pay up and not on our usual phone SIM cards.

Wrongly charged
I ordered grab food from Burger King. The food was dropped off. My debit card was charged for the food transaction and then I was chat for a transportation ride that was not ordered and didnβt even happen
