  • Want better

I’m on the hunt for some other app that either the ring will connect to or that uses the data Qring writes to the health app in a better UI. I’ve seen Qring’s previous UI and it was 10000x better. Please make it a tile grid again, we don’t want to have to scroll and click through and blah blah. This design now is antiquated and clunky.
  • Works Good

I have no problems with connecting, syncs right up to my Apple phone. This little thing has great battery life. The best feature is sleep but I really don’t understand the “sleep score”. On days I slept well it gives me a lower score.
  • Good ring

Works a lot better than I expected for $20.
  • Really Good, Almost Excellent

I really like the App a lot. Integrates with Apple Health and populates data reliably. Found and linked with my ring that I bought on Amazon for $40 and never has lost connection unless the ring is charging and re-establishes connection immediately after taking it off the charger.

The whole deal, ring and software is an amazing price for what you get. Great basic package of health data. Nice user interface and intuitive screens.

My biggest complaint, it is significant and I can’t give 5 stars until it is fixed. My biggest reason for getting the ring in the first place was to track sleep. I hate wearing my watch to bed. I’m an “old dude”. The software does not take into account my usual nightly trip to the bathroom. The App only credits the sleep I had up until I get up to “go” and does not register the sleep when I go back to sleep after returning to bed. Therefore, I am only getting credited For 1/2 to 2/3 of my actual sleep time. It seems to take a “Once you are up, you are up” approach and only recognizes one sleep cycle every 24 hours.

Other software will measure this and even any sleep if I doze off during the day.

Almost perfect for what it is, but not yet.
  • Sleep Data Is Not Accurate

I’m a night shift nurse so I sleep during the day. It does not record sleep data during the day time. Instead, while I’m at the nurse’s station charting at 1 am, it records that as sleeping. 😫 It’s not a bad smart ring, especially for the price, it just needs to be a little more accurate in it’s recording.
  • Ring won’t connect

Unfortunately I can’t even use it because it won’t connect. I returned the ring.
  • Consistently Delivers Data, Awkward Interface

This app always connects and downloads the data off my R02 Colmi ring. Data is what’s most important, thus the three stars.

The interface, unfortunately, makes me hunt for all the pertinent data when it could all live on a single page. Based on older reviews, it seems that all useful data used to be on one page but the app got an overhaul that changed this to be much more user unfriendly. The developers seemingly copied the Oura Ring app’s look and feel, degrading the previously excellent user experience. Bad move.

The app’s sleep numbers are useful but I’d prefer deep and REM sleep be called out rather than just labeling it all “deep”.

Heart rate and oxygen readings seem to be accurate as long as the LEDs are on the fatty side of my finger. I used a file to flatten a 6mm wide swath on the side of the ring where the LEDs are so I can quickly see/feel where it needs to be oriented for good readings. Works fine but I’d much prefer the ring came with an obvious 3D feature that shows me where the LEDs are.

Stress readings are useless. Always says I’m not stressed. Absolutely not the case so I turned off the automatic stress readings to save battery life.

Biggest issue is that blood oxygen readings appear to be read every 30 minutes but the data is only recorded at the top of each hour. This uses up the battery twice as fast as it would if the unrecorded reading were cancelled. Blood oxygen levels are the most important sleep quality data and every hour isn’t enough to consistently monitor when I might be experiencing an apnea episode(s).

I get three days before my ring dips below 45% and a few hours from 45% to completely dead. A more accurate percentage reading at the lower end would be helpful but I’m used to it now.

For a fifteen dollar ring this is a miraculously inexpensive piece of functional jewelry. Hoping, with firmware and app improvements, it gets even better over time.
  • OK ring

The ring itself does its job, but the app needs improvements. It’s constantly logging me out I’m always logging myself back in, the data time stamps are generated into military time there’s no way for me to change it to 24 hour time. I wish there was a widget to use for iPhone on my home screen it’s the only app in my phone I’m not able to add a widget. Also there’s no way for it to link up in my Apple Watch either. The step count is always different from what it shows on my Apple fitness, it may be because I have them on my dominant and non dominant hands. Hopefully there some improvement..
  • QRing APP Does not Save Sleep Data

The Qring App is longer saving sleep data. The nights sleep data is there when I wake up, and is gone by the next day. Please fix this. Thank you
  • Connection

I have had this ring for about 2 weeks and it stops connecting and will l not connect again. It is super frustrating and I want to return it for this reason.
