UI is dreadful, no iCloud sync

I have the iOS app (which has its own set of issues) but so does the macOS app. I have iCloud Sync enabled, yet it didn't sync any of my subscriptions from iOS. Why is the settings panel so tiny? Open the tiny settings panel, then click "Go to settings" and there's no way to exit this Siri prompt. I had to force close the app. No font size options. Horrible UI. No way to resize panels. It's like the dev slapped this together and hoped for the best. Stop trying to support every known Apple device and focus on one (iOS) and try to make it usable please. This is just unusable.

Smart summary?

Smart summary is not working, at all. The only thing that sets this apart from other news apps. Also, please consider ditching the subscription model for a single time price, or at least make that an option.

Need Chinese and Japanese

It would be nice to be able to set up automatic summaries and beautify the headline language. I need Chinese and Japanese. I would definitely buy it if it was available in both languages.

Excellent except on Apple Vision Pro

Ever since the amount of articles have been increased in conjunction with the smart summaries feature, I’ve really come to appreciate how well this app filled the void left by Artifact.

Mobile version is excellent - feature rich and full of useful gestures. It needs a history section to keep track of articles I’ve clicked on. Sometimes I need to pick up where I left off!

Apple Vision Pro is currently not a good experience. Whenever I’m scrolling, it will randomly jump me back to the top of the feed! Or sometimes when I'm scrolling through the feed, I will accidentally select the scroll wheel and fling my feed around.

The scrolling needs to be looked into. I think there needs to be more space between controls so they don’t accidentally get selected.

Anyway mostly positive experience, just needs some refinement on AVP.

Do not buy

The app on the mac does not have 1/3 of the settings options. The app on ips is low to update and does not retain the read status of articles. The list goes on. If you know the history of this developer with apps such as Planny, (abandoned then sold along with many apps on his website) Aviary, (abandoned then replaced with Aviary 2). You will not trust the developer to continue the development of this app. Think about this, how will they pay for yhe AI features over time if someone purchases a lifetime subscription? The answer can be found in their prior work. Save your money and use feeeed.

Beautiful news app

I wish we could use Safari built-in reader mode for some custom sources that don’t display content properly.
It would be great to have a top headlines view too.

Then it would definitely be an app that would make me delete all my other news apps and worthy of 5 stars.

Such Promise, but now it’s just Bricked

I had VERY high hopes that I could replace Artifact. I read news all day long and need a great news aggregator. With a few tweaks Bulletin could have been it. But now, I’m stuck. I changed some setting that was only for paid I guess and now I can’t click on any article to read it. I sent a request to create a rest button for standard settings, but that has yet to appear. So I’m stuck. I can’t read any articles with out the “pay now” pop up. I would TOTALLY pay for Artifact and was prepared to pay for Bulletin, but I just needed more time to feel comfortable with the app before plunking down the lifetime license. Since this app is essentially bricked with no guidance on how to get out of it, it gets 1 star.
