Less than useless
So my K2 is unsupported. Makes me want to go back to Garmin for a bunch of reasons: better battery life, and a usable app. Yes, I do believe the K2 is a better and easier computer to use than the others out there, but being relegated to “outsider” status is a distasteful scam perpetrated on loyal users. Is the new Karoo worth its nearly $500 pricetag? I doubt it; it doesn’t seem to have anything over the K2. So yes. I agree with some of the other negative posts: SRAM scam, and no more love for Hammerhead. No longer will I advocate for a device whose company so clearly disrespects its users. And to those of you who have the new Karoo, good luck to you, you do have a great device. But you’ll probably be posting something similar when the “K4” comes out and the app upgrade will only support the latest device, leaving you floundering in a pool of betrayal.Show lessSpacipace
No support for previous Gen Models
With feature updates that don’t indicate any major upgrades to the cross function between the Karoo 2 and the Karoo 3 I don’t see why this wasn’t an app that was implemented across all Karoo devices in the Ecosystem. If a future update comes in to make it compatible with previous generations then maybe a review is worth giving, but for now you’d have to splurge 700$ on a bike computer to get any use of the app. If you’re a long term Karoo user who has been looking for any app compatibility then then is a bit fart wafted in your direction from the team that made this decision.Show lessFinnskrillen

That feeling when you’re a longtime karoo 2 user who’s basically been an unpaid local brand ambassador, and you find yourself disenfranchised by the lack of support for your device on the long overdue mobile app. Sram scam. Terrible.RA Finklestein

Companion for what?
What does this app actually do? Basically all I can get out of this app with my Karoo 2 is the device’s software version and serial number, the app version, and whether it is currently connected via bluetooth. Does this app actually do anything?Conor reviews apps
