No Karoo 2 support
Why in the world would you not make this backwards compatible with the Karoo 2? This has been a feature that has been asked for for so long. Why would you alienate your loyal customers? Please fix this horrible oversight. Your biggest competitors have had this functionality for years.

It would save us Karoo 1 and 2 owners a lot of wasted time if Hammerhead indicated at the start of each notification about updates etc whether some, all or none of it applies to us, instead of burying it inconspicuously down at in the back end of the post.
That way I could just bin most without reading them.
I wasn’t that impressed with the Wahoo os compared to motoring gps units, but it seems stellar after I spent about 4 hours this week following the instructions to sync the Karoo 2, only to eventually find I needed to disconnect and reconnect the Ride GPS and Komoot apps first.
I’d like to upgrade to a better nav unit than the ELEMNT Bolt as its screen is too small, but so far the Karoo hasn’t been the answer.
And I wish you, Garmin and Wahoo would stop dreaming up your own terms to name essentially the same function and make it clear in instructions whether entries are for the GPS unit or the App.
That way I could just bin most without reading them.

Karoo 2
Doesn’t work with the Karoo 2. What hardware limitation exists in the Karoo 2 that it can’t be used from this app? It smells of planned obsolescence to me. So much for being a Hammerhead fanboi. Time to move on…

Disappointing that hammerhead hasn’t made app support available for the Karoo 2. Way to leave your loyal customers out in the cold.
Absolute Rubbish
I’ve tried several times to connect this app to my hammerhead unit. the app asks for a QR code which does not show up. The help prompts are equally useless. Saying that the software needs to be updated. Which it has been. Still no QR code. So I factory reset the unit and now I get a QR code but on hold the code up to the camera nothing happens. 🤯🤬
I have to say whilst I like the unit the hammerhead interface and connectivity is way poorer than Wahoo. I’m seriously sorry that I have invested in the hammerhead when I should’ve stayed with wahoo which just works and is very easy to navigate from the unit and the Wahoo element app.
Until hammerhead sorts things out this is not a product that is worth investing in.

Doesn’t offer much functionality as it is, but nothing works.
Map links never ever send from iPhone e at least.

Short-sighted
I won’t even consider upgrading my Karoo 2 to the K3 until SRAM commits to making this app compatible with the population of K2 devices that otherwise work perfectly well.
