Unique App

As a Traveling RN, I have worked with many of the PRN local apps for RN shifts, and Medely is unique in that when you pick a shift and book yourself—you are automatically booked in real time. Unlike other apps that work for facilities first and me—the worker, SECOND. They let you request a shift, but you may wait for hours or days as facilities wait to book you until last minute, leaving you hanging and waiting. Then, they may even later cancel you.[NurseDash🤨] Medely is different, they let me truly secure a shift in the moment, haven’t cancelled me and really seem to have integrity and priorities intact for both parties. Thank you Medely!

Forced to share location

Forced to share location or else app is unusable!

Because the app allows you to clock in and out from your phone, we have you share your location to ensure that you’re clocking in at the facility and not prior to your arrival.

Communication

The only thing I dislike is not being able to speak with or text with a live person. Sometimes there are things that come up that are not an option with the “bot”. I’ve have an issue I emailed about 2 weeks ago and I still haven’t heard back from anyone. Other than that, I’ve had no issues.

No opportunity to rate the facility

Some facilities “abuses” their rights to flex the hours. They can send you home after a half day despite you were booked for whole day, also they may simply ignore the fact that you are required a lunch break and if you are trying to take your lunch at the end of your shift the facility may refuse to pay for that and “Medely “ doesn’t protect you.

No Notifications

I don’t get text notifications anymore. I used to buy I stopped getting them and Medely hasn’t been able to fix it after multiple phone calls.
