I know I gave 4 stars, don’t get me wrong, this game is amazing, a huge stepup from exploding kittens the first. First of all, I love the 3d, especially when grabbing a card, the attention to detail is immaculate and i’m goad my money was spent wisely! the reason why this is missing a star is because, i felt with the add ons, for around 5 to 7 bucks, i miss how the card decks had its own charm to it, like actions were different, i felt if implented in game, and a little action that follows after using a dlc related card, it would be really cool and a tad bit more worth its price! so more people would probably want to buy the dlc too, besides that, the skins, the theme, i love it!
Exploding Kittens 2 takes the original game’s charm and cranks it up a notch! Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the series, Exploding Kittens 2 is an absolute blast.
I loved the first version of this game. This new version is a fantastic upgrade. It’s new, so there are some bugs, but it’s really a lot of fun. Definitely worth the upgrade to the other decks and there are a lot of other fun upgrades as well! But!you don’t have to pay more to have fun in the game. It’s a lot of fun right out of the box.
BEWARE!!! Ive played exploding kittens since the card game first came out and it was amazing. This new game is fun too but 1 flaw! BEWARE THERE IS NO TIMER FOR TURNS!!!!! I played with a sore LOSER, they had one card left and the next card was a kitten. Instead of taking the turn, they wasted 3 min on the app just to eat the kitten and get 2nd place. FIX THIS ASAP AND ILL CHAMGE REVIEW
Overly monetized, since DAY ONE they were selling expansion packs mean they intentionally withheld them. The animations make it slow and clunky to play, no more funny voice bits you get emojis now?! I loved the original this was a horrible disappointment.

Yooo this game is worst than the first version. The game is some how slower and longer at the same time. The animations are super slow but you start with like 16 cards in the deck. No more sounds/quips, only emotes. No turn timer some how?

I’ve had nope cards disappear and it would be better if instructions were included. Not sure how combos work. What I can’t figure out is if I buy the additional decks, will that share with family?
Making a sequel instead of supporting the original game that also cost money was already a terrible movie. The artstyle is uninspiring and the animation feels cheap. The rounds feel so short and the cards lack the cohesion of the first game. The second game offers no benefit to the physical card game unlike the first one that allowed you to play cards that were impossible in real life. I really love this franchise but this game is not worth your money or time even if it was free.
It’s super easy and fun to play I find myself plays for hours
I am a big fan of the original, have bough every expansion and character pack. However this was overly monetized from the get go. Expansions available DAY ONE. Not only that the animations make it clunky and awkward to play. No more funny voice lines instead we get emoticons? I want to like it but I can’t it feels like an unnecessary cash crab all the way.
