I can click on Find a Game and see several pending games with under 5 players. But when I click on one I just get the loading icon. Nothing ever happens and there is no way to exit the screen unless you quit the app. Very buggy still.

The game frequently misses finger swipes and has regular crashes when you keep trying to get the same swipe to work. Playing a card is not easy like in the first game. I feel like I am fighting my screen. There are lots of “filler”graphics that slow the game down. Stop with those. Just let me play a card and move the game forward. I don’t want to watch that cloud thing again for the 100th time. It doesn’t make the game better.
Worst part: There is at least another $20 of in-game purchases to get the “full” game. I think Matthew Inman is great so I am wondering if he knows that this comes off as a poorly constructed cash grab.

I never thought I’d like a game like this!
My boyfriend and I were very excited to play this when it came out, but immediately when we started playing we noticed that the game was buggy and the animations feel way too slow. The game lacks the charm that the first game had like all the characters for your profile pictures, sound effects, etc. I appreciate the effort that was put in for the art direction but I feel like the devs had their priorities in the wrong place. If I were to change things, I’d remove unnecessary animations that take away from the game’s pace, fix the bugs, and give us more for buying micro transactions aside from just pure cosmetics (especially because the game already costs $5-$14 USD as it is)

Why does it feel like you’re playing a first person shooter? Lots of unnecessary additions, should’ve kept it simple and kept improving the first version. That’s the app I’m going to keep playing. Just wasted $5. Lame.

I don’t understand how this is an upgrade from the first game. I’m sticking to that one for sure.
All the unnecessary animations make the game clumsy to play. No more funny voice bits from the characters, overly monetized from DAY 1. They fixed something that wasn’t broken this is one of my favorite games but this was a terrible disappointment.

Why? I hate creating accounts and now I need to create a new account just to play with friends? Even locally?!? Dumb
I really want to like this but it is kinda buggy and terribly slow. The animations are fun but they force the game to slow down and meander along. Wish you could quicken up the pace of animations.
Also the game feels buggy. I can't get multiplayer to load and get caught in loading screens for almost everything except play by myself.
I love the card game and still play the first version of this game. Some tweaks here and there can really make this a must have
