Very useful for artists

Exactly what I was looking for - the ability to get a munsell analysis of the colours in a reference picture. Don’t see any other app that does this. In photoshop you can get various color scheme coordinated but not munsell, I find munsell most intuitive for colour mixing.

Wonderful that you find it useful. I originally wrote it for me and I can’t tell you how great it is that it helps other people. And you’re right - hue value chroma - definitely the way to get to the next stage in painting.

One app to rule them all

This one app does the work of 5 I had before. Its hard to find really workable Munsell oriented color apps, this one not only has Munsell but 2 other systems as well and integrates with Lightroom well. Plus its very intuitive to use I was up and running full speed on the first try. Some may think its pricy but worth every penny and more for the depth of information you get and how much time it saves me as a painter. Really a stellar app made by a very fine artist who really understands what is needed for visual art. Thanks Michelle!

Great Tool for Color and Value

I’ve been using the free version for a while now for every painting I do. This version is a fabulous upgrade, so easy to use and navigate. Thank you Michele, who also happens to be an amazing painter!

Most valuable tool for color ID

If this clever tool had existed a few years ago, I could have saved $1,000. and not purchased that Munsell Book of color.

Many thanks! The Munsell book is great but you're right it is a huge outlay nowadays. Even though I have one I'm using the app more and more - especially now you can display accurate colors.

Brilliant!

This is so useful - and well executed. Don't buy any more books on colour theory, or even a Munsell chip book! Just get this and more paint with the money you saved :-)
