I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Facetone has been frustrating. I subscribed to the Pro version on September 2, 2024, and immediately noticed several bugs. Despite this, I continued using the app. However, by day 6 of the training, the app froze and wouldn’t progress.
I reached out to customer service, but the response was unhelpful. I was asked for multiple screenshots and had to deal with so much back-and-forth communication that it felt like a waste of time. After a week of this, I was passed to a new agent who had no knowledge of my prior conversations. Despite trying everything, including reinstalling the app, nothing improved.
I requested a refund, which was denied. I’m using an iPhone 12 with the latest iOS 18.0, so it's not a device issue.
Bottom line: Do not waste your money on the Pro subscription. The app is riddled with bugs, and the customer service is overwhelmed and unsupportive. You’re better off watching the creator's videos for free on social media.
