Why remove ability to listen to music
So this game was really fun for awhile. Love that there aren’t any forces pop up ads, and you can choose when you want to see them. Used to play this game pretty much every spare second of my day, but after the most recent update, I can no longer listen to music while I play. Which makes me barely want to open the app because my music stops instantly. I don’t know why they implemented this change or if it was whatever company they partnered with. But it’s so annoying that it made me leave a review about the app, so do with information what you will.Show lessJ9782
Shuts down background audio
I will always listen to podcasts or music when playing games on my phone. I would have loved to play this one but it looks like the developers coded the game to not allow background audio playback. Definitely needs to be updated. With it coded this way any audio media you have playing will automatically stop when the game loads. I have other games made by this company that allow background audio, so I know they’ve done it properly before and can do it. Very disappointed.Show lessYachi4134

In my second area my little bot is always stuck on walls when inventory is full. Also cant contact the support via the app settingsBlokyze
Amazing - few things need fixed badly then I'll update my review
First of all - all ads are voluntary. At least that I've seen. That alone makes it an amazing game, hats off. I'll watch ads voluntarily for things because of that.
It's a better version of Alien Invasion and I don't say that lightly, I have AI open all the time on my iPad.

Cons : A couple of things are broken.
The ONLY way to get the premium currency to update many things in the game is to watch ads or buy them. There are two spawns at the beginning of the game that are supposed to be a 3 hour cool down. They respawned for me once and never did again. Alien invasion at least gives you free gems without needing ads or money.
My hunter cubs in the lava zone are completely broken. They collect millions of resources and then sit against a wall. This has halted my progress completely in the lava zone and caused agitation because I spent some of those precious gems to get another cub before they broke.
PLEASE let us zoom out as our octopus gets bigger. It feels crowded when I cover the entire screen.

Events don't pay
I actually like this game, pretending to be an octopus and upgrading and evolving is fun. The addition of events at first was exciting but after two events where I placed high up in hopes of getting the red pearls, I only received fifty shells… the events are time consuming as each catch gives one point and the targets move a lot so you need to dedicate a chunk of time to progress. So after spending so much time to get a high rank, I was disappointed.

This game has been very fun and entertaining but a few things really cause some problems. For starters the game doesn’t give me the option to watch an add for a certain bonus which although to some may be a nice thing really puts me at a disadvantage compared to my friends. The second is there is a competition to capture a certain amount of flying creatures to get a reward based on your place against other players; however, after grinding for 4 days to be in the top 100 when it came to get my reward I was rewarded as if I was dead last. I feel as this bug caused me to waste so much time and lose out on a lot of progress.Show lessaacosta2202

There is no way to contact support. The link in the settings to contact support does not work. There have been several glitches in which the game shuts off after a little while and you lost all progress… where fishes glitch and are unable to catch… And now my cubs who catch fish for me in the deep level, don’t dump what they caught. They just sit there when full. I tried getting more capacity and they will start catching again but then sit still. In the regular ocean my cubs are still catching fish, it’s just the deep sea ones. Also I’m only getting 1 out of the 2 octopus/fish kind that give you the 5 red balls every 3 hours. So instead of 10 red balls every 3 hours, I’m receiving 5. I cancelled my subscription due to all these glitches. Hope they will get fixed
Edit: I also noticed that the experience you get from fish in the deep sea isn’t displayed. And now again with the event, we only get 50 blue shells. Whether you got a higher ranking or not. This is the 2nd event I participated and got in the top 100 and top 500 and haven’t received the rewards I was supposed to get. Very disappointing!Show lessMalsamkreda

Loved the game when I could play it but now after getting to level 6 my game won’t stay open for more than 30 seconds without crashing and bringing me to my phones Home Screen. Please fix🙏RyGuy37___
