  • Seems Impossible to Use for Free

    I get gatekeeping features, but it does feel nearly impossible to get matches on the free version. You can see a handful of profiles to like each day. I know it’s not worth paying for premium based on the reviews and know I’d only be disappointed seeing my likes. I don’t know why but it also really rubs me the wrong way that the refer to people as bagels, it feels really dehumanizing and makes it feel like it’s not real people on the app. Ironically reading reviews it does sound like there’s a lot of fake profiles and to me “bagels” feels like something you’d call a fake account. Wanted to like this, but think if they want to keep this alive will need to do some serious reconsidering.
  • CMB great way to meet people

    I’ve had a couple relationships that were long term but no more than a year. It’s challenging to date for me because I’m neurodivergent, taking a break from driving since last year and have chronic migraines. I definitely need and want someone who will understand all this and my past experiences because I’ve been through a lot. Thank you for creating an app that’s safe for women to use.

  • Doesn’t have enough users

    This app doesn’t see to be able to attract enough female users at a fast enough rate to support a match-making environment. Even in a high population city (Dallas TX), I seem to have ran out of female accounts to view after only a few weeks of light use. Now I’m at the “bottom of the barrel”, where I’m only show 2-5 accounts per day that are wildly outside my filter criteria. I regret paying for a membership, because there’s not enough profiles to make anything happen. Other apps are better because you can play the numbers game, but that’s not possible here.

  • Fake profiles/ Scams

    I have been matched with a lot off Asian men since they are my type and we both send a like and we start a chat for about a day then they ask you if you have WhatsApp. Then we start a chat for a few days they are nice to you in the beginning. You ask questions they reply but if you want to know more about them they cut you off with some other conversation. Little by little they start talking to you about financial stuff like they want to help you for your retirement and help you make more money. I caught on right away but I played there game to see how far they will go. And they start being hostile and saying you have to do what I say. I always replied I am not comfortable talking about financial stuff and they will tell you that you don’t trust them they even do video calls with you. Every single person I was matched with about 16 men CMB sent me an email that they were reported. For all the women out there be careful who you get matched with most off the men I chatted with were very handsome and the profile photos are fake there background is always somewhere traveling. A good hint to check if it’s really or not the pictures will look more normal like a in there own home or somewhere more natural. It’s a disappointment to pay all this money and most of them are fake I recommend to CMB to be more careful on who is in there platform. Because a lot a woman get scammed by them.

  • Waste of money. Don’t bother

    This app is only trying to scam people by buying a membership. You only get a few flowers. The compatible matches. Are awful. if you put a dealbreaker at all their algorithm doesn’t even care and still sends you people that you do not want to talk to. When you try to ask questions to their AI chat thing useless.. I only get the app as long as I did because I wasted my money and paid for 3 months. I would say eight out of 10 people were fake. If you X’ed someone because you wanted to pass they’d show up in your compatible list again the next day. AWFUL!!!

  • Newest app doesn’t allow email login

    Needed to uninstall/reinstall CMB due to display bugs. Upon reinstalling, CMB doesn’t allow email login or FB login and didn’t link my phone number before removing login through either method. This is poor planning and a poor user experience. Why would you push an update that locks out users and not notify them or provide a method to transition to the new login system? Also, what’s up with the UI stuck in 2010? Bumble and Hinge have much better UI, CMB seriously needs to step their game up. Really disappointed with this experience as a current Premium member.

  • Wait; what happened?!

    Is this the same CMB just “new”?! ‘Cause it seems like the same exact app as the old one, as in, equally ignoring my dating preferences that I’ve spent time carefully adding into the app. The same app that shows my profile to people outside of my preferences, so I get likes from people I decidedly DO NOT want. I guess it is. Which, for the record, if the CMB product managers understood their jobs, would know that it actually harms the people who “like” my profile assuming I’m interested in their profile; I’m not. I WILL *NEVER* PAY FOR AN APP THAT OUTRIGHT IGNORES MY STATED PREFERENCES, SHOWING MY PROFILE TO PEOPLE I HAVE ZERO INTEREST IN DATING. NEVER.

  • Location Segregation

    I’ve checked the CMB support pages. CMB is segregating everyone with a +1 phone number. So nearly everyone with a US, Canada, or Caribbean phone number will have to get a new phone line in another country, create a new international Apple account to download the *worldwide* version of CMB, and switch their Apple account and phone content whenever they travel to other countries just to use CMB. Ridiculous.

    EDIT: No, I refuse to sign up for Premium. I’m in Asia for 6 months while my location is stuck in Chicago thanks to your stupid policy.

  • Scam!

    Scam! This app is designed to collect as much of your $$ as they can, in return, you’ll get a messed algorithm where straights are matched to gays and the other way around. They’ll keep offering you their stupid beans in order to keep chatting with someone even if you are in the highest subscription tier. For example, they charged me for a regular membership and didn’t send me any suggestions only to suggest that I upgrade to the highest level, which I did. Surprise surprise they kept both the $70+ and the $90+ (no refund is allowed). Yet, they are still trying to send my the silly beans every day. And, still no dates suggestions.
