  • Terrible Service

    This is the absolutely worst on demand dry cleaning service on the market. If you're considering trying out his service, I would highly recommend choosing a different company. I rarely rate companies on here unless the services are absolutely terrible and feel I should let others know. Here a few reasons why I would avoid DRYV:

    1. Multiple time they have missed the pick up times and then have their drivers start calling you multiple times during the work day asking where the dry cleaning is. The issue is the app clearly states the dry cleaning is with your doorman.

    2. Multiple times dry cleaning is not cleaned and smells worse than you received it. You then have to resend the laundry back to get cleaned again. Completely eliminating the convenience of the service.

    3. Most recently they sent me the wrong dry cleaning. I only received 1/3 of my order. I emailed them and asked for a call back, but only receive emails from various customer services reps. The reps said they are still trying to "locate" the shirts bc they sent them to the wrong person. The next day they sent one of their drivers to my front desk and he verbally harassed my amazing doorman, accusing them of losing the shirts. It has been over 2 weeks and I still do not have 6 shirts back with over $600.

    The most recent incident has been the last straw and I will never use this company again.

    Buyer/user avoid at all cost.

While I know it was a stressful and frustrating problem to deal with when incorrect clothes were delivered to you, we were happy to report that your order did make it back to you after locating it, including the six shirts. I know that doesn't excuse the time delay on the resolution and I apologize that you and your doorman had to deal with it at all.   • Used for months-- giving up now

    I used DryV 6-7 times over the course of a few months. Convenient at the start, but I've encountered more and more problems. That paired with increasingly ineffective customer service means that it is no longer worth paying additional money per item for this service. A number of problems:

    -dishonest pricing-- noticed a "expedited" charge on an order that hadn't been expedited. They fixed it when I contacted them.

    -unreliable pick-up-- The first time that a driver didn't show up on time, they sent a courier immediately and gave me a $5 credit. The second time, they pretended that I had never scheduled my drop-off even after I sent them a screenshot. The third time, they barely apologized and said they couldn't send my order until the next night.

    -technical glitches-- App allowed me to schedule pick-up for a time when the cleaner wasn't open. The app also showed that I was getting my dry cleaning from a different provider than the one they sent it to.

    -ineffective customer service-- Only way to communicate is through email, which is unreliable at best. No option to text or to call them. For later mistakes, they barely apologized and never offered refunds or credit for mistakes that were clearly their fault.

    Dry cleaning pick-up and delivery is only convenient when it is reliable. Sadly, it seems that DryV can no longer provide that service.

  • App has its glitches/crashes-but horrible service

    The app has a tendency to not hold onto the date and time selected for pick up when placing order. As a result, you are forced to ask for the delivery again at the time when you're expecting the item to be returned. Horrible customer service! sent a comforter in to be dry cleaned & they held it for three days longer than my selected delivery date. Then to top it off, promise when I got the item back it wasn't even cleaned; no one had even touched it! Stay away!
  • Won't use again.

    I'm in LA, and it's hard to find a good laundry delivery service unlike NY or Chicago. They supposedly operate 24/7 but my order has yet to be ready (just simple wash/fold) and it's been 7 days. I emailed twice and finally got a response that the cleaner took longer because of the holiday. Understood, but the app doesn't have any data to support that and the lack of responsiveness is awful for this type of service. I should have just taken it to a cleaner myself. Do not recommend for LA!
  • Great Service

    I've been using DRYV for about a year now. The app has improved a lot and makes ordering really simple. Whenever I've had a question or problem their customer service got back to me almost immediately, which is amazing!
  • Great Local Service

    Great and very responsive service! Any issues, which are hardly any, they make it right! I wasn't able to log on and sent a twitter message, within seconds got a real message.

    I've used them and a competitor, but they don't have a delivery fee like the other.

    Had to drop the 5 rating to a 3. Their billing is horrible and I am being to not trust them. They charge you for laundry that was done 4 months ago, really???

    This happened on several occasions and I told them I could swear I paid for the service back then, they said I hadn't. I'm so busy that I haven't gotten around to checking my books months prior...thanks DRYV- as if I have nothing to do but check something you should have handled months ago not months and months after!

    Hey there, We apologize for the billing issues that you experienced in the past. We have located and mended the problem which stemmed from a bug in the billing process. DRYV strives to provide transparent pricing by sending two invoices, one for review and one at billing. All should be set here on out!
  • DRYV is the most convenient thing in Chicago.

    DRYV kills it every time. I get an order on Friday morning and get it back Saturday or Sunday depending on when I want it. I'm always prepared for work on Monday. Customer service is stellar too. Had a messed up order and I was rude but they were nice and fixed it right away. Thanks DRYV!
  • Nope.

    Driver was 15 mins late, outside of a 1-hour pickup window. Annoying, but no biggie, right? Well, when they finally showed up I missed the call (because I received no notification about their lateness OR when I should actually expect them), and called back literally 2 minutes later. They said "sorry on to the next delivery." When I asked if they planned to come back, I got no response.. And my order was cancelled. Nothing from support either. Soooo I called the competitor (Washio). Won't use Dryv again. πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ
  • Solid

    They make things for people like me that forget to go out and actually pick their dry cleaning up regularly much, much easier. Only used once so service remains to be seen but the driver came and found me at the exact time of delivery. Solid concept and execution so far.
  • So far, so good

    Was able to schedule a pick up less than 24 hours away, courteous driver, 1 hour windows of time for pick up and can request laundry in addition to dry cleaning. Would love to be able to schedule drop off at the same time as pick up is scheduled.
