  • Amazing!

I still love this game. It takes getting used to but there is a rhythm to it and getting to the artifacts and defense.

Once you have all of the mechanics down, it is just a matter of obtaining the goals and survival.
  • Mind boggling and addicting!

It took me a little while to gain experience and a bit of patience was needed. I play all the building and crafting games out there like Minecraft, Don't starve, Terraria…I was unsure about this one in the beginning because the style looks almost too basic, but that's actually where everything changes once you get in deeper. Once you get the hang of it it's quite brilliant and I have yet to get to the end but it is immersive enough to stay on the journey. A game that you'll always go back to.

  • Good, but can be better

All the other reviews are pretty spot on. It's a fun game with great visuals, but the AI of the minions is horrible. My big complaint is that once you beat the few missions it has to offer, then there isn't much more to do. If there was some way to play against other players or a computer, then I could see this being my favorite game. In all, it's worth the purchase and hopefully in the updates the developers build upon this pretty solid game.

  • Easily worth the money, but has a few major AI issues

The good: it's as advertised, a minimalistic real-time strategy game, with geometric puzzle elements. It's challenging but rewarding. It offers a great deal of depth and thus replay value. It won't crash on you or anything.
The bad: the AI is the worst I have ever used. It will regularly do things the long way, multiple AI will attempt the same task despite it only needing to be done once (E.G. three ai will attempt to move one item each when only two need to be moved, leading to seconds wasted.). This disrupts priorities and wastes time, which places the player at a severe disadvantage. And if you change the information the minions are working with, they pause for a moment before choosing the worst possible action that still fits within your instructions. Fortunately it at least tries to function, and you can still control it enough to enjoy the game.

  • Hadn't been updated in ages

    Long overdue.
  • Not worth the money

Fun and strategic but honestly it's not worth $4 I was expecting something to happen when I got the monoliths but no it just says "the end" then you can play 2 new game modes 1 removes the only real reason it's challenging the other takes away some material but the map is smaller but it's a good game just not worth the money

  • Freezes constantly iPhone 6S

Updated from 1 star to 5 stars. Game was freezing a lot before, but figured out all the freezing was due to not being signed into Game Center. Apple changed Game Center in the latest iOS update. Have to sign in in the Settings menu.
  • A lot of potential, but...

It's a good start, but not worth the price. It's fun and addictive, but there's only one level, one map, few strategies to be found and few goals to meet. I only got a solid 4 nights (or about 5-6 total hours) out of the whole game. There have been very few updates since the game came out.
  • replayability

Others seem to praise this game for its replayability but I found this game quite boring to play again. I got further than a lot of the reviews claimed to get on only my second game, then I played the other game modes and then I was just done. It wasn't fun to play again because it was exact same thing again. Nothing really changes from game to game besides the order of the block shapes that you're able to put down, which affects the game very minimally.

Some things that I would enjoy adding to this game:
    -fast forward button
I seem to spend a majority of the game waiting for the minions to go and do it's tasks
    -bigger
I would love to play a game longer just to see how many waves of aliens I can fight off but unfortunately i'm crippled by the fact you're only allotted a certain amount of resources.
I'd like a seemingly infinite map so I can play a game longer
    -AI efficiencies button
people complain about the AI being dumb but it makes the game harder and I enjoy that. So I would enjoy being given the option of choosing the "smartness" of the ai

  • About that AI

I can't say much more than what's already been said by other reviewers, so I'll add some value by responding to the critiques of the AI.

The "poor" AI is a part of the game. Complaining about it is like complaining that all of your chess pieces aren't just queens.

To elaborate, when you first get into the game, I'd just ignore the AI. After playing for a bit, though, watching where the little tykes are going becomes a part of your decision making. If several are about to waste their time on construction, look at what they're holding. Can you just switch them to Food Service? Can they be used elsewhere? Adapting to the given "controls" is a part of any game. These little not-so-smart minions are no exception.
