  • I've made good use of this app for 5 years

I've made good use of this app for 5 years now, fist with the 2012 purchase of the Withings scale, WS-30. It connected to my iPhone simply and consistently -- even through battery changes. And records separate weights for multiple people in the household.

In 2013 I bought the blood pressure upper arm cuff (Sphygomanometer) I think it is a BP-800.
I've since had to get an iPod to FireWire adapter (30 pin to thunderbolt style for my new iPhone 7 and iPad Air).

It has worked fine through many replacements and iOS upgrades. And has allowed me to export my date for more thorough analysis on my computer, to the point of allowing me to plot whisker charts for my doctor's consideration of medicine dosage and type.

In the last 6 months, however, I have had the app go away when I plug in my BP-800 cuff. ... sometimes. (The app is still running , it hasn't crashed, but it becomes a "background task that I must pull up again.). Sometimes stopping the app and restarting my iPad fixes this, sometimes not. Still, I'm able to get regular recordings with patience.

    I recommend the products.

  • This device is worthless

I purchased this device about 4 years ago and now it doesn't work because they haven't updated the software in a ages. I paid quite a bit of money for this device. I will never buy this brand again.
  • Dangerous App

It is completely unacceptable to have a health related app not function. Every time I plug my blood pressure cuff into my iPad the app crashes. I bought this device so that I could monitor my blood pressure and regularly email my Dr. the results. As it stands, I don't know if I'm at a health risk or not. What should I do? Go to the ER? No, that's why I bought a Withings blood pressure cuff so that I could know these things. Fix your app before someone has a major medical episode.

  • Neglected by developers for 4 years

Now running an almost obsolete 32-bit version. What's going on?
  • Useless, outdated app

Get the iPhone app instead, it does everything the scale shows. The iPad app is outdated and just about useless.
  • Does not work

This app had been used with the blood pressure cup. Now it will not connect with the pressure cup. Very frustrating.
  • When will the iPad version be updated

When will the iPad version be updated? This app is just terrible. The phone app is great, but this looks like the first generation of Apps while they were still being created. Update it already
  • Ms

Terrible app. Doesn't track heart rate or air quality data.
  • What happened to iPad support

This app is very old and only works with weight and heart rate, Withings has not updated it in what is almost 4 years. Because of that it's erratic in its linking with blood pressure cuff and has measurement error messages at least every 3rd measurement wit the new iOS and gets the apple warning that this app needs to be update to reduce power usage. This app has been updated in 3 major releases of iOS

To add insult to injury their modern replacement app is an iPhone only app that doesn't even show as an option when you search for iPad apps. That new app will work on an iPad when you install it manually, but only in the old blow up the screen mode, SHAME

Now that being said the scales and the blood pressure cuff and the scales are great produces and I have had several years of great usage from them. With updated software to get rid if blood pressure errors I expect to have several more years of use

Get with it Withings, the ipad version gives us a much better view of what is happening
