Missing features
No 3D offline is a major shortcoming and not knowing the elevation when you drop a pin
Canada users do not waste your money.
This app definitely is nor for Canadians. Google map or Apple Map has better features for free for us Canadians. I was expecting land owner divisions and names similar to the Ihunter app…. Yeah not at all. I paid for the elite annual and what a stupid move, if you are curious just do the monthly. But in Ontario, this app gives me nothing useful to help locate public lands. Hell it doesnt even show the public tracts in my area… very disappointing. I will be requesting a full refund.

Good app with limitations
Works well but does not allow selection of Canadian provinces.
The app is fantastic and their customer support even better
I’ve had this app for two years now and as I use it more the benefits are even better. I have sent sure how well it could find my stands and blinds in the dark but it took me to each spot right on top of it! You can’t get lost with this app!
So what about customer service? That’s pretty much gone these days except for ON X. After mistakenly deleting some important waypoints (even after their typed response are you sure you want to delete this waypoint” I assumed they were gone forever but not for ON X! I called their customer service line and actually spoke to a couple of real sharp guys and they were even able to repost these two waypoints for me in seconds! And reaching them took only a few seconds to actually speak to someone!!!
Get the app if you’re a hunter because it’s the best money you’ll spend and it works flawlessly and if you have questions they’ll speak with you on the phone!!!! Imagine that.

Need better mapping for Cochrane District / Cochrane Unorganized North Part. Plenty of moose hunters and trail riders around here!
Land research
If you want to explore more and more your land and find out a specific area that might have a big buck, that’s the app. I spent all my season on it to be prepared and be ready that moment in the ground.
Not for Canadians
Even with the proper subscription the map does not show crown land properly. Better to use iHunter as a Canadian it actually shows the different types of land whether provincial or federal crown land as well as important hunting info. It seems like onX Canada was an afterthought.
Sucks in Canada🇨🇦 DO NOT SPEND MONEY!!!
App is wack if ur in canada doesn’t show everything on the map no private land, crown land areas bigger then what they are, no legend to say what the colours are
OnX is piece of mind!
I use the app for two states. It give me peace of mind, knowing that I’m in a LEGAL spot to be hunting and without the worry of catching a trespassing case or hunting somewhere where I’m not supposed to be. OnX hunt greatly improves my abilities to scout certain areas to hunt at and all at the tip of my fingertips. Thank you onX Hunt, it would be a lot harder without you!
***Update: I just upgraded to the “Elite” membership. Saying that im impressed is an understatement! The benefits of the app is incredible! I love being able to now work all 50 states! This is an invaluable tool and I can’t imagine being without it for all of my hunting and pre-hunting needs! I especially like the newest feature of see what the land looks like as of ever two weeks! That’s incredible, showing me current field conditions for hunting. Finally, I have to tip my hat to OnX hunt’s customer service! Their reps are awesome and super helpful. I’ve called them twice and resolved any questions I had. Thank you OnX, I’ll never leave home without your service!!!!!!!
