It was a good app
This use to be a great app that provided fair paying campaigns but over time this company’s customer service to their creatives have declined. They hold their influencers to strict deadlines to create content but do not pay them on time. It’s turning into a rare event to hear from anyone when you have a problem. Currently they are a week behind in my payment and I can not get anyone to answer.

One star is even too much to give this app
Can’t get anyone to respond to any type of email or message
I’ve had an issue with payment for over a month now and I’ve messaged, emailed and any other type of form of communication I could find but nothing no response at all! I have two gigs that have said payment in progress for months now ! Who knows if I’ll ever see that money! I just wish someone would atleast respond to any of the messages I’ve sent! One gig was from July ..... it’s October and still haven’t been paid!

Waste of time
Don’t waste your time. I’ve had this app for over a year 570k followers 5% engagement rate. Haven’t been accepted for a single campaign. Just a waste of time filling out each brief only to be immediately rejected haha bye bye
Really bad app. Popular Pays team are unprofessional
I’ve worked as an influencer/ content creator for 7 years and never came across a platform that was so poorly managed. Don’t waste your time.

I highly recommend this app. You can partner with brands right away with a low following this can help you get experience and build your following. Since using the app I have gotten two collabs and I am fairly new to the app🌟.
Not good for macro-influencers
As someone who has a very large social following, this app caters more to micro-influencers (like 10k - 50k ish it seems). For someone with almost 2 million, I rarely get booked because my quote is so high, despite very quality applications. I also wish their support team was more responsive/helpful. Just my personal thoughts relative to my situation, but if you’re a micro-influencer then this app may be for you.

Useless
To me it’s useless, 1 because it doesn’t except anyone from the UK and 2 because all I see at the moment is free gigs, so you don’t actually earn anything
Can’t even get proof of concept
I reached out to look into starting Popular Pays. They called and gave me a list of their stats and brands and asked for the starting $500 mth membership. I asked outside if the documents they create, is there anyway to get a real proof of operation as many companies produce a good sell but once you start it’s no where close to the same. By asking this, apparently it wasn’t what they like and so instead of showing confidence in their product, they deemed the information sufficient enough to blindly shell out $500 off documents that they provide. Sadly they couldn’t offer a money back garuntee. Shady!

Terrible
All of the gigs don’t give any compensation. There’s less than 10 on there. The app/site is empty. If you want to disconnect and reconnect a new account you have to make a whole new account on this app. No thanks. Headache.
