I got this game years ago, it was a lot of fun, I even supported the developers with some in app purchases, but this pay monthly/yearly is a joke, especially when my original progress was not save and I already spent money on the app. What’s worse is the devs didn’t update it for a while so after an upgrade the app no longer worked so was delete. Imagine my expression when I found it was back (woohoo) and then my expression when I found out it was subscription based (boooo). App deleted. Developers, please change this and also add more content. I wouldn’t mind paying £1.99 for the game with a family license so my kids can play too.

Why?

I paid for this game after launch, I later played it after it got abandoned and now they “re-release” it and add a subscription feature? So that payment form all those years ago is now worth nothing. Thanks halfbrick. And your auto response is awful, truely a downhill company. Very disappointed

Scummy behaviour

After not being on the app store for years I was really looking forward to playing it again but now it's locked behind a subscription service. No respect for this company anymore. Very frustrating it should be a one time purchase.

The subscription

The subscription fee is not worth it for a bunch of mobile games, id suggest they make it something more reasonable if they want to actually see profits.

Great game for exactly 1 hour

Great game to play for one hour then the free trial is up. I would pay for the game, but I won't pay for subscription service.

Lovely game, just play it for an hour then delete it because the subscription service is stupid. Why can't I just buy the game once to keep it? Even just as a separate option for people who don't want the subscription service?

Why do I have to pay for halfbrick+

I understand you’re job as a game developer requires you to make profit from said game, but surely forcing players to pay-to-play is not the most efficient way. I used to love this game as a kid and wanted to let my child enjoy this experience. I downloaded the app which says “free to play with in app purchases”. Technically the subscription half brick+ that is required to play the game lets the game have that title, but as a consumer I feel slighted by this. Additionally when I tried to activate a subscription, I didn’t receive the activation email that the game had been sent and delivered. I’m sure other potential users have been turned away by these same issues. Please do what you can to find a way to maybe get rid of halfbrick+ and still make enough money. I understand that even taking the time to read this is probably very inconvenient, so I thank any developer that takes the time to.

Seriously? A subscription?

I love Halfbrick game, Jetpack Joyride was my childhood, Dan the Man was enjoyable, and this game, despite me rarely playing it, was very fun. Now the question I have is why does this dinosaur need me to pay to play it? This game is good and fun, however it is mediocre compared to other free games on the App Store. There is no reason you should have to pay money to play this. If you’re going to make a game free to download, make it free to play too. Don’t charge money PER MONTH to play this. I’d appreciate a singular payment that you do, then you can play, but a monthly subscription? No, never.
