  • What’s the point tracking drivers?

What’s the point tracking drivers? TQL , Trinity, MegaCorp, and others Brokers!? They tracking drivers drivers phones not to bother drivers and keeping calling and texting and emails drivers and wee asking why calling when you said not to bother wee ask to track your phone? They keep saying wee don’t trust tracking :( it’s not working:( driver can say its in different locations? How if you can’t modify the location? Why tracking? And then you keep calling? That means there is something more to tracking your phone? They doing something or stealing information from your phone:(((

  • Never seems to work for brokers

App works seamlessly on the driver side but constantly being told it’s not updating for the brokers. I’ve given it all the permissions requested. I do turn off tracking in systems when not in use because it runs in the background even when not in use. Please repair the brokers side so they can stop calling and texting me when I’m driving.

  • What’s the use???

Not a bad tracking app or way to record one’s arrival and departure when picking up and delivering a load. The problem lies with these brokers that require you to download the app to allow tracking of the load and then bombard a driver with phone calls whenever they think you should be somewhere before you are. They never leave a message when they call and if you don’t answer because, oh, I don’t know, maybe the driver is busy, perhaps driving a truck in traffic,….don’t worry, they’ll call right back. Some of us prefer to do things the old fashioned way without a phone or headset growing out of the side of our head.
I know it must be a hard and boring job being an agent for these brokers but really, maybe try downloading a game like Royal Match maybe, I hear that there are no ads, no wi-fi required, doesn’t require membership in Mensa. If they had some source of entertainment or way to occupy their time, they could let the drivers drive and let the app take care of tracking the location of the load. Just a thought and suggestion to possibly help make things better.

  • Works 50% of the time

I’m in logistics and I’m a dispatcher/track and trace. The company I work for uses this app. It is terrible. On the loads I track this app works maybe 66% of the time. On some loads it works fine and I have no problems. That is maybe 1/3 of the loads. On some loads it works okay but it is spotty. That is 1/3. Then there is 1/3 of the loads where it is a nightmare to get it going. Then it stops working after one or two updates. I have to call the driver and usually have them delete the app and reinstall it. If I’m lucky, that helps. But it usually fails before delivery. I spend most of my days chasing drivers because this app is terrible. They need to fix it so it actually works. They also need to make it so drivers can’t manipulate it so easily. There are countless flaws in this app. Samsara actually works. But I will say that Macro keeps a log and samsara doesn’t. So macro wins there. But loses everywhere else. I will happily take the app that WORKS over an app that doesn’t work any day of the week, even if the working app is missing a nice feature. Ugh. Do better Macropoint. Negative 5000 stars. You make my job soooooo much worse than it should be.

  • Easy to use an excellent tracking

It's nice to have an app that actually gives you all the information for your load P/U # , BOL # , Any information that you may need on the load and obviously locations .. if there is a problem there is a 24 hour helpline.
  • No real time tracking

This is the most demanded app by the brokers we deal with. And they constantly call for location updates as this app does not update automatically. You have to manually update location. And yes I have the most recent update installed. Totally worthless in my opinion
This has been posted before. This app is total trash. After accepting and marking “arrived”, brokers still call for location and eta. Garbage garbage garbage

  • Spyware/Malware

Application is used to spy on drivers, sending raw data without their consent. App makes bogus claims to protect driver privacy but will send data to outside sources and does a less than admirable job of protecting data from collection. I’ve blacklisted any shipper/receiver who requires it for freight, I suggest you do the same and drive this unsolicited intrusion of our privacy out of business. I’d also suggest calling or emailing your state rep to enact legislation to protect drivers from predatory applications like this

  • Excellent Tracking and Less Phone Calls

It’s an excellent app in tracking the in and out times. The great feature about it is that it knows that I have arrived and departed from the pickup and drop location. If I happen to forget to open the Macropoint app to login in my arrival and departure, it logs it in for me. A Bill of Lading number and a photo of each Bill of Lading is all that the Macropoint app asks for at the pickup and drop location. The Macropoint app helps drivers and carriers to be organized in a timely manner by sharing needed information in a fast paced environment.

  • Wide coverage

When there is no good internet coverage or bad signal it seems that it takes time to switch to a better service coverage.
