It’s good that it has a feature to buy roaming package from the app. It makes the whole process easier. However, when you buy roaming package the authentication takes a long time or the page doesn’t refresh.
I’ve also encountered at least twice in which it sent a message saying the package has been activated but turned out I was charged with normal roaming fees, and not packaged fees. Another time, their system glitched and charged roaming package twice but would not rectify the auto payment. They refused to credit the overpayment from my side!
I’ve also encountered a time when I was already overseas and had to extend my stay, in which then I could not buy the roaming package. They said they encountered an error and it was not fixed throughout my overseas stay. Hence I had to go around without network connection and only relied on wifi when it was available.
The billing feature doesn’t give detailed invoice items. Absolutely useless!!
The help chat menu is limited and difficult to get through an actual person. You’re stuck with a bot that doesn’t address your specific needs.
XL has gone from worst to horrifyingly UNBEARABLE. I’ve been a customer since the 90’s and the only reason I’m stuck with xl is because of govt regulation that doesn’t allow me to move my number to other network. Absolutely s*^€k! What are the BODs doing? Sitting around talking and no actions?!?!?!!! As a customer, I despise the idea my money is used to pay for the BOD remunerations when I receive little benefits being a customer.
