bought to use audio beat function, BUT....
bought six of these led sets to use in car audio install so the lights would work in sync with the audio sound (as advertised)! problem is you cannot use the iPhone microphone (for lights to the beat) and speaker for the music at the same time. would've been good to know considering it's advertised as such.Show lessJATOCA

A waste.
Save your money. Bulbs and software have minds of their own and this is a customer no service organization. Even if you try to contact them with the help area: nothing. And nothing has changed as of June 2016.firstgarbo
Get the new firmware
I was very disappointed with the performance of this app and the associated bulb UNTIL I updated the bulb's firmware. Now, it works PERFECTLY. Its a lot of fun, and functions flawlessly!DoctorDave
Apple Watch "Scene" not working
These bulbs have better colors then Phillips Hue which I own.
Apple Watch app "Scene" function does not work. So no way of selecting custom preset from Apple Watch. Please fix.

Works Great!
Received my bulb a few days ago. Some of the special effects (candle flicker, strobe) did not seem to work. However, I soon noticed that a firmware update was available.
Downloaded the update, deleted and reinstalled the app (as other reviewers recommended) and all controls work flawlessly!
Even installed the app on my iPad 3rd generation. It works just as well as my iPhone 6. Near instantaneous response from all the controls and special effects.
If there is a negative, I wish that there were various temperatures of white easily available.Show lessGreg3323648
Easy and simple!
Just got my lights today and love it. Only thing I've found that could make it better at this point is if on/off force touch features could be added so the app doesn't have to be opened every time you want to turn it on or off. Otherwise it's like the title says, easy and very simple!that lefty guy
Bad app!
When I got my Delite light bulb for Christmas in 2014, I immediately put it in and the app wouldn't let it turn to colors like green, yellow, orange, etc., so I have dealt with that problem. I have recently updated my app(about 3 days ago), but it won't even let me into the app! I've tried turning off the app, turning my device completely off, and waiting, but nothing works! Guess they need to update their app again so that it works?🤔😠😕😨Show lessW7k
Never works right
I like the colors. But terrible app. Schedules won't work. Can't delete them either. If I had a buck for every time I've deleted and then added this again in order just to change colors I'd be rich.

New features added
I updated the app and it kept crashing immediately upon startup. I deleted the app, reinstalled, and it hasn't crashed since.
Multiple new features were added and one of them called candle flicker works great, but unfortunately you can't change the color from the default yellow-orange. I wanted to adjust my second bulb to flicker a deep red to create a fire look.
In the next release, I'd like to see animated scenes where you can choose a few colors to cycle through at set time intervals.Show lessJimichanga
Constantly crashes
I can't open the app at all, it just constantly crashes. It used to work, but hasn't now for months. The range was always very short, but this is much worse. I can't control the lights at all.Cwmenne
