  • Great fitness motivational/tracking app

First off, I’d like to say this app had been mostly pleasant since I began using it 8 years ago. I have found a system of motivation through the fitness programs found within the app, and I find it easy to stay on track since I am reminded through the body-calendar to hit my workouts each day.

Aside from the great fitness features, you can add friends or follow motivational people. Although there are the drawbacks of having creepers from time to time, I have only found that issue to happen once or twice, and it was easy to resolve. Ultimately, it comes with the territory, and I enjoy the social aspect and community that BodySpace has established.

Overall, this app does a nice job of helping you track your workouts, find a fitness program to help you on your journey (if needed), and connect with like-minded people in a fit and fun way.

  • Weekly Rep Recap has become pointless

After not working out for a few weeks, I did not get a weekly rep recap for about a month AFTER I started logging workouts again. Not only that, it isn’t even capturing all of the workouts I’ve logged in a week. What gives when all of the data is already there in my workout history?? Individual exercise entries would be much improved if we could save notes/details to them. For example, if I am using a machine with various seat adjustments, I could jot down what those are instead of having to remember them or list them outside of the app. This app is so close to actually being great, but neglect in updates is clearly not helping.

  • Love the App - Interface can be a Touch Confusing

Overall, the app does exactly what I want, though the interface to isn’t the most intuitive. You can get lost trying to figure out where the program you just chose is, where and how it’s starts, that sort of thing.

You also have to be careful as there seems to be a few funnels designed to bring you into paid services.

Once you get the hang of the navigation, it’s brilliant and motivating.

  • Need to integrate Apple Watch

Look, I like this app. I love the database, even if it sometimes needs updates. I love that I can create workouts and plans (on the website) and follow them on my phone.

I hate that tracking a workout doesn’t track as an exercise on Apple Watch. I hate that the timer doesn’t ding on my watch like “Strong” does. I hate that I can’t save sets and adjust weights/reps on my watch like Strong. I hate that there isn’t an audible ding in my headphones when the rest timer is up, and that I have to click on the timer on my phone rather than it just stopping and letting me get back to work, thus killing my flow as I have to pickup & open my phone.

If y’all could pick up those kinds of things and make this work with Apple Watch, it would be 5 stars all day and I’d consider upgrading. As it is now? Should be 3.5 stars.

  • Great app But…

Great app! I’ve been using it for years to help track my workouts, gains and progress and it’s a really really good tool. It’s also a good resource to help you connect with folk who share similar interest. The store is pretty good too.

The only reason I can’t give it a 5 start rating is that the exercise database needs to be updated. I’ve had 2 back surgeries and have been forced to adjust my routines through the years and many exercises I do ‘in addition to’ traditional resistance training are not in the DB therefore I can’t track them and get the full overview of the impact of my training. Small thing (I know) but even with that it’s still the best on the market- hands down.

  • It’s good, but could be better.

I love the BodySpace app. But a few improvements could be made. Right now it’s just slow and acts and looks like it’s dated, another thing that would add is autocorrect to status updates. You guys could definitely make it look more sleek and streamlined, like by putting a “user search” on the bottom menu that could search random people to allow you to see your followers and people you follow. And lastly, more functionality like being able to choose different reactions to other statuses and pictures.

  • Excellent app for all level gym enthusiasts

I use BodySpace daily the last 3-4 years to track my workout plan and socialise with gym mates all over the world. Creat app to keep track your progress, motivate and be motivated.
  • One of the best lifting apps to date

Been using this app for right around 7 years. (on and off, depending on my life choices) Honestly for me has always been a great experience. Has always had a program to help me achieve whatever fitness goals I had. I have always been too lazy to put my own program together and this app is perfect for that! Would recommend to anyone that is trying to find a challenging routine whether you’re an expert weight lifter or beginner. Safe lifting!
