Updating the review one year on — everything below still true, still great app:
What keeps me coming back 3x/week is not bells and whistles but the fact that i see and feel my strength and health improve and I don’t have to put much thought in — I can trust the app. I know I can because my progress has been amazing.
I am a 55yo woman with arthritis in my shoulder and a history of chronic shoulder and back pain dating back to an accident at age 23. Since starting the program about a year ago, the increase in muscle around my problem areas means I am pretty much pain free. I wish I had known years ago the difference strength training could make.
I can set the program to increase weight slowly so that I’m not putting my fussy shoulder at risk. The workouts are surprisingly meditative and afterward I feel confident and calm and good.
I recommend signing up for Mehdi’s emails. They are efficient and the advice is easy to apply. I emailed a question early on and Mehdi answered me the next day with helpful advice that has proved correct. Kudos!
