App not capable

App not compatible with QU 32. 1.7 version
No way update the Qu32 software right before a major gig. Need a way to revert to 1.7 compatible QU-32 app

Great app, great mixer

Love this app just used it in a venue where I had to have my qu 24 behind the FOH speakers used the mixer to get 90% there then used the app to mix from where the crowd was going to be. My biggest moan about this app is that the PFL buttons don't let you listen through the iPad but make go to your mixer. Setting the app up with my qu 24 was easy as anything just plug my router in connected my iPad and it all was there and waiting for me. My band also loved the qu you app for their in ears.

Needs direct connect option

Please make this app also work by direct USB connection, wifi is fine but it would be much better if it could also connect via USB using the CCK.

Amazing Sensitivity and Response

Totally enjoyed the remote control over Ipad. The response and sensitivity is just amazing. At this point still learning how to maximize the pad.

Great App!

I use this app once a week at my Church. It is helped us mix to better as well as helps us make the mixes for those on stage better. One suggestion I would make for a future update would be the ability within the app to keep the screen on while the app is open. I use mine with my board for more information and have to always have the screen never time out because If the iPad times out from non-use the screen goes off and the app disconnects. I would like to have the app stop the screen from shutting off when the app is open so my iPad can automatically turn off the screen when I am using other apps. THANKS! Keep the awesome updates coming!

Qu-Pad is Versatile

I use Qu-Pad to give me extra screens for mixing. Like quick access to DCAs, monitor mixes andFX processing when I don't want to constantly shuffle around the layers. It's even useful to help ring out the monitors.

Decent start, lacks a lot.

Mimicking the board lay out in the app would be a good place to start. The addition of effect send l and r allowing the full use the fx engine would be a plus. The app lessens my enthusiasm towards the mixer.

Qu-Pad App V1.4

The app works quite well for me on an iPad Air, especially with the lighter weight of the Air! ;-)Functionality works quite well, and at times is a bit more intuitive than the mixers' screen. Definitely like the channel naming, and for my memories' sake, I just do screen captures on the iPad. Only problem I've found, and it's not a huge deal, is that after swiping to the next faders, it takes a second or 2 to draw the next batch! All in all, a great job, A& H!

The Truth

I just recently bought the Allen & Heath QU-16 mixer for our group of 7 vocals and 4 instruments and the board is the best I've had by far, and the app for the iPad was fantastic and truthfully I almost preferred using the app rather than the mixer but after the new update it won't let me log in. It brings up a "version error" message, now this don't mean the app is bad due to one thing or mistake! I just hope they get it fixed so I can use it for our group again since I'm running our PA with it. All in all I still think this is THEE must have for any QU-16 and QU-24 mixers!

Good, but missing some essential features

This app is still in its early stages having only been released a few months ago. It's well well designed like it's big brother - the GLD app but is missing some essential features which other brands have had from the start.

My biggest gripe and it's biggest flaw in my opinion is the lack of being able to label the channels. Mackie's master fader app app not only let's you label each channel, but it also lets you assign a JPEG or other preset picture for every channel. - Great idea! Without channel labels it makes things pretty tricky, especially when mixing with all 22 channels. It's impossible to remember what is what! The other lacking feature is that you can currently only use one iPad at a time with it. Presonus and Mackie's apps allow multiple devices to all be connected at the same time. Including iPods and iPhones and allowing restricted access where required so you don't have band members messing with the wrong mixes. This is a great feature as each band member can create their own auxiliary mix which is a massive bonus and part of the reason I bought the qu-16 mixing desk.

I'm hoping that after reading my review that Allen & Heath will be able to include the features soon - especially the channel labelling! With these features included this app will be excellent, I just hope it doesn't take too long! I personally feel they are taking way too long to get these essential updates done. With an app half as good as Mackie's or Presonus' they would be well onto a winning formula and make this one of the best selling mixers in the world. They'll need to get a move on though as they are currently well behind!
