The Luxor system is great. It’s easy to use when running around doing route stops.

a few “bugs” exist in the software, that lead to confusion for the homeowner, e.g., (1) when programming a scheduled program to only control the lights for a specific day, e.g., Valentines Day, the program display states “Every day of the week” yet it also displays the specific date it will execute control.
(2) There are multiple screens that display a light-intensity slider bar so one does not know which screen slider-bar is controlling, e.g., under Groups, a slider bar controls intensity while within a program another intensity slider bar is displayed.

USE TO WORK
Had this app for over a year the new “upgrade” has our lights on 24/7 and can not shut off. Even from the main box. Wasting useless energy and MONEY!! Luxor please fix this issue immediately, I’ve reached out to customer service and have not heard anything! Ridiculous!!
Luv my Luxor Lighting
I have had these lights for 7 years. I have 15 colored themes and 23 schedules when different themes come on! About 2x per month I get special colored lights, the rest of the time, they are white - like everyone else in my neighborhood. I have themes set up for birthdays, anniversary and every holiday, I even have them set to come on red/white/blue every night during the Summer Olympics next month🇺🇸
The recent update definitely helped with app speed plus added a place for pictures and names of each theme.
One hint my rep shared with me - by turning the intensity down to between 65-70, pulls the white out of the color and makes the colors deeper and much prettier!
I use the on/off toggle to randomly turn on my party theme when in the mood.

Response Time
This has got to be the slowest app I have yet to use. There has got to be something that can be done about it. The functionality is okay once you’ve had a cup of coffee to give it time to load.
Slowest app ever, buyer beware
The interface is not well thought out, for example all the programs are named “program A”, “program B”, etc so it is hard to remember what each program is for. I would like to rename them (and the house to something other than “test”. Maybe I can, but the app itself is so slow I get to frustrated to find out.
I wish more people could be informed before buying, I was sold on the features but would have looked more at competitive products if I knew how painful it would be to change any settings in this app, it is that slow.
Hopefully the company will dedicate more money to app development in the future so I can change my review.

Update is awful
Was a slow app but since the update(2 weeks ago) it has kicked me off my access on the app to control my lights (rendering colors useless unless I go to the box) and even when manually inputting ip address it says we aren’t on same network! So frustrating!!!

This might quite possibly the worst system I’ve purchased. I’m not saying saying it’s the “app” but I have had nothing but issues with “Luxor”. Every season since install (2021) when we arrive at our house for the season, this system has failed and required me to reset up every program/theme. I’m more than disappointed in this overall system. Quite frankly it’s terrible.

Usability Nightmare and Unreliable
When you pay a premium for a supposedly top product, you expect better. Not here. Unbelievably bad app usability. To add insult to injury, connectivity to the controller is hit or miss. Both my phone and the controller have excellent connections to the network, but the app can’t consistently connect to the controller.

Terrible
I paid over $12k for a lightning system that barely works. It’s appalling. The app is awful. Not intuitive or easy to use. It takes about 40 seconds every time you open the app to even be able to control the lights. Really sad. I wish this company would care enough to put some time and effort into their product. I wish I could just return the whole setup.
