Really bad..
This app should be simple and straightforward. Sorry but since the new upgrade:
- all my downloaded content is lost
- I had to log in and out several times and although I had paid content, the app was saying I need a premium code to access MY content
- app crashes regularly
- app intermittently says I need premium code for my paid content
Sorry..terrible.
I need an app that i can trust when I go to a crag with already downloaded content offline. Only to regularly find out without internet in the crag that app crashes and asks me to log in which is impossible without internet. Useful only when it works. Useless all other time which is a LOT a lot of timeShow lessmuddymuzzle

With the latest app update, I no longer have access to the topos and the digital download I paid for. Very disappointed and feel stolen from. Please reinstate the Yosemite Valley topos.mupchurchie

Hello, you can find your unlocked guidebook and crags by going to the My Content section in the app. Unfortunately, the author of the Yosemite Valley guidebook chose to remove their content from the app. We're working on getting other content from the region in the app soon. Stay tuned.Money grab
A guidebook that I bought was made into a subscription that will expire.
The new navigation is choppy even on an iPhone X, and doesn’t fix long-standing bugs (you lose your place in a sector after viewing a problem)zjsonli

Like many said navigation of the app is extremely unintuitive. I just downloaded the app and the app tutorial was very short and didn’t cover much, but a good app shouldn’t need a tutorial.
One thing that sticks out to me is the headers of the page just kind of blend in, it took me 15 minutes to find the list of Boulders in my gym because when I clicked “topos” I did not even see there was a header that said “Boulders” that I had to switch to.
The training programs although a little quirky sometimes due to the automation are pretty awesome, it’s nice on a day I need a little more motivation to just be told what to climb and when.
I’ve been waiting for a mountain project replacement, mountain project could be soooo much better, but getting people to do the initial switch will be tough.

This app shows the potential that apps can have. I think that with some more support and work this app can really improve the community around climbing. My indoor gym just added this, and it’s nice for tracking routes I’ve done. It will be much better if more people actually start using it and adding comments.
As for outside climbs - mountain project is still the go-to app.kay708
Potential held back by bad design
It clearly has a lot of features and functionality that could be leveraged in really interesting ways. However it’s incredibly frustrating to use because the design and navigation are horrendous. I hope the developers invest in some good designers and do some user research on the main workflows.YetAnotherJason
