been a long time instax user and I’ve been using this app to print photos on my Instax SP-2 for years. for the last 6 months or so I have been unable to print anything at all. the printer turns on and hold charge. I can connect to the instax wifi. when I go into the photo selection to print it says the photo is not compatible and the printer shows as not connected. have tried every available fix I can find online and nothing works. I see many others in reviews and forums with the same issue but not response or fix from devs. I think it’s interesting that other instax apps are receiving regular updates whereas this app has been left to waste… very disappointing. this makes me not want to purchase instax products again as it’s clear the goal is to push you to buy new products even when the older tech is still in great operating condition. hope to see a fix deployed soon but no longer optimistic

This App is GARBAGE.

Whatever the latest update did, it broke connectivity for my SP-1. I can no longer connect my SP-1 to the app. And before the developers respond with their copy/paste answer, yes I have checked my location settings to “Allow While Using the App” and “Precise Location” is enabled. I have also made sure that “Automatic Power Off Setting” is off. I have emailed your customer support but my hopes are not high.

My $200 printer that works just fine because I was printing photos with it a few months ago is now e-waste because of lack of development support. This app looks like it was designed in 2007 for an iPod Touch and never looked at again. Your development team should be embarrassed and ashamed. A multi-billion dollar photography company can’t design an app for printing photos while expecting us to pay hundreds for their hardware? Give me a break.

What is the point if the printer can’t connect???

Very frustrated at this point.
My phone picks up the printer connection. I have made sure that I have allowed location access while app is in use. I have checked real time photos works, every time I attempt to print it prompts to says check to see if the local network is allowed which it is. It repeats this message every time I attempt to print. I don’t know what else to try at this point to get it to work 😡

Would love an update on this app

Templates are really outdated. App looks so cheap. If you buy products that can only function with the use of an app, you’d think they would update the app more often. Thankfully I haven't experienced connectivity issues. The app just seems to be stuck in time.

Can’t connect to SP-2

It appears I cannot connect to my printer anymore, even after enabling precise location to be available.

Won’t print

After connecting to the wifi connection and clicking print to a photo, the screen will load for a minute and says “please download our latest app” the thing is I can’t find it, as well as that this app is inconsistent and prints on occasion rather than other times where I have done the exact same thing.

Useless app!!

The more I updated this app the more I had problems. I have got the connection problems all of sudden and did every steps from all information written in all community sites. But I have got NON connection STILL. If you dont maintain old machines, you should replace them or trade-in for new machine!! I have got many cartridges for this machine!

Does not work

No longer supports instax share sp2. So you’re basically forced to buy new products if you want to print Polaroids. Ridiculous

Local network issues

Could not connect to the printer.
Check if the local network is set to "Allowed" in the device's settings screen.
Press the [Confirm settings] button.
You will go to the "instax SHARE" setting screen.
Move [Local Network] slider to the right to enable the permissions.

Even if I activate the local network, that message keeps appearing and I can't connect to the printer.

Buggy

Every time I want to print a picture I have to delete the app and reinstall it because it says my printer is turned off. I’ve tried multiple ways to fix this but nothing seems to work.
