Cannot print / no internet connection

I have an older version of the instax printer sp1. Tried for an hour on my iPhone 13 to print with the app and it will not print AT ALL. Very frustrating. Tried all the tips and tricks online and none of them work ( turning location on, resetting network, turning on/off Bluetooth, etc). Under the printer’s wifi , it just says “no internet connection”. It used to work really well a few years back but the app/ machine just couldn’t keep up with technology, despite fujifilm’s “fix”. I would imagine a $250 dollar machine to last longer than a few years. When I try to connect with Fujifilm, there’s only an option to call but the call centre closed. Again very frustrating. Please recall all your old printers if they are not going to work and give your customers an updated one. Very disappointed. A waste of time and money. I would give it a zero star if that was an option.

Not Working

Even if my printer is connected the app is slow and wont print my pictures at all.

Waste of my time

I got the instead share sp-1 a few years ago but I haven’t used it until now. Every time I go to print it says that I need to update the app when there’s no update at all. I have tried using it while it was on charge then I replaced the batteries and nothing will work. It’s very frustrating knowing that I can’t print anything

I understand the low reviews

I’ve looked at a few of the low reviews, and a lot of it doesn’t seem to be with the device itself but the app.

SP-3 : Polaroid styled printing, prints and then develops. Color is nice for a miniature printer.

The App : I had personally no issue with the app. The only complaint I have is as of right now is that the User Interface (UI) needs massive revamp. It looks awful and looks 10 years too old compared to other apps of today. However it did work so I can’t judge too harshly, it just looks awful.

This is a useless app

I never write reviews, but I have to for this. This app is honestly useless. It doesn’t work. It won’t connect to the printer, which then renders the printer unusable. I got the printer as a gift earlier this year and when I tried to use it, was really disappointed that I couldn’t. I ended up putting it in the cupboard and forgetting about it. I found it just now and thought I’d try again, but no. Still doesn’t work.
How a company like Fujifilm have not improved this by now is honestly beyond me. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Used to work but doesn’t now

Used to work fine, no issues. Now my printer won’t connect - printer is working fine, lit up green and charged. Tried resetting the printer, the app, re downloaded the app etc. It still won’t connect. Very frustrating as what you have paid for, you can’t even use!

App not connecting to Printer - SP-1

Much like the recent reviews, the app won’t connect to my printer even though location services are on, local network is on, and all settings that I’ve googled are on. I’ve had this printer for 6 years and only now it’s not connecting. It’s most likely due to the iOS updates which is why it’s incompatible now. The printer is in good condition as I’ve kept it that way for so long. It’s definitely Fujifilm for not updating. It’s ridiculous that they have so many apps for each of their devices rather than invest in having only 1 in which all devices can be used through their one app. Pretty disappointed since I can’t revert back to old IOS softwares.

Not working

I never had a problem with this printer but about a month ago I tried to connect my phone to the printer and it would not work never had this problem before locations turned on photo sharing‘s on everything is the way it supposed to be but it just does not want to connect to the instax SHARE print my photo why is it not working on an iPhone 11 with the updated iOS please get this to work ASAP. I’m pretty bummed that I have a device that I purchased and paid for and I can’t even use it because it doesn’t wanna connect all because of an app.

ios 15.6

i just recently updated my phone and since i have i have not been able to connect to my printer. I’ve seen in the past that others have not been able to after updating there phone is there anyway this can be fixed so i cant print things please? Other than that this app has worked great with everything else!

Connection

This app is outdated,, cant connect or print. When i try to enter the default password it wont let me print
