Updated Needed for Renewable Diesel

While the app generally does a fine job of listing stations that uses alternative fuel, my concern is that there is no such option for renewable diesel (R20 or R99), as well as whether the app can keep up to date on availability of renewable diesel fuel sources in addition to E85. Furthermore, there needs to be updated data as to which stations can accommodate Class 8 trucks. Moreover, there are no alternative fuel stations (especially E85 and renewable diesel, both R20 and R99) to fuel up trucks within the state of California that hugs the border with Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and down south to Mexico. Until there’s a major update to the app involving renewable diesel, it’s best to stick with the website. (The website itself also looks outdated.)

So far. Terrible

In past three days, I have gone to four stations that were either not working or not present at the location presented on the map. The last one was at lion Station in Basking Ridge. I drove the entire length of the parking lot and did not see a single charger. I was at nearly 0 charge by the time I found a spot that had charger. It would be nice if they could include availability as one station they brought me to was completely filled. I think these people are more in business to sell home charging stations.

Functional

The app works if you just want to find the nearest alternative fuel stations to a given location, but you can’t see locations further away. This would be handy if you want to see what infrastructure is like in a broader area.

Not too bad for finding e85

Not too bad for finding e85

A little quirky, but able to find stations. Map doesn’t update like I like it too. Usually gotta play with it to get it to show all the stations.

Not so easy to use, but probably a petro conspiracy. I do use both, plus electricity in my Chevy Volt plug-in.

Excellent

Excellent app, very accurate and has found me E85 when I’m not familiar with my surroundings. Easy to use and has not let me down yet. Would recommend for anyone who runs alt fuels and drives to different areas a lot. A+,well done :)

Exhaustive Reference

This app gives you access to a database that is more comprehensive than the others I’ve used. That tends to mean that the data is not filtered for access, hours, etc. that really matter for using the chargers routinely, but in a pinch it could be really helpful.

Prices

This app is very useful when traveling across the USA. I can easily find filling stations and get directions and business information. However it would be more helpful if the price at the pumps were also listed.
I regularly use it to find my fuel but have been disappointed when I reach the fueling station and the price is twice as high then regular fuel. Not only can I not afford to pay the higher prices but I have wasted my time traveling to the station.

Flex fuel

For anybody using a vehicle compatible with flexseal this app is amazing. I found so many stations that sell flex seal that I didn’t know and it’s gotten me at a bind so many times I highly recommend it.

Only way to find CNG stations

Great way to find CNG stations. I would suggest an edit that would allow pictures of the stations and/or the current price of fuel.

Planning

Not a good app for planning trips, would like an app that could show all of the CNG stations in the US at once, however the app is excellent for locating CNG stations in big city’s.
At least let you type in the state and get all of the CNG stations in that state, other than that it’s a very aggravating app.
