June 12, 2017

Improved data export: instead of dumping the entire database you can now select only a portion of time. The name of the generated files includes the first and the last date objekt. If you are not using the automatic end time, the automatic end time is now set to your average bowel movement time. Fixes a problem that could cause switches to show a different state after scrolling. Fixes a problem that could cause a day in the bar char to show zero even though there was a bowel movement.

1.3

February 20, 2017

Added a graph that visualizes you bowel movements per day. Added percentage break down of stool types so that you can easily see what is normal for you. Added a pie chart that visualizes the percentage break down. Added sticky as consistency type and bright yellow (bile acid malabsorption) as color type. Added an option in settings to delete all your data. We have learned that some users are hiding the app from the first page because of the name. In this update we changed the app name below the app icon from "Stool Log" "to "Log". Fixed the "different subject title" problem in english support mails. "Failed attempt" does no longer count as a last stool type in statistics. Revised journal descriptions. If you set additional properties in the detailed mode, they will change the descriptions. This will prevent descriptions like "good stool" (based on the bristol stool chart) even though you told the app it was painful to pass. If you like the update, please consider rating the update in the App Store.

Reviews of Stool Log

  • Wonderful app

I’ve used this app for years. It’s very user friendly and I can see patterns develop. I can jot down my food intake and medications. Very much recommend this app.
  • Do The Doo

Great app! I’ve been recording my bowel movements for a week now and I love that I can make my own notes and it’s super simple to use! Highly recommend it if you’re about keeping close track of all the aspects to your wellness!
  • Perfect for anyone with GI issues

This a great little app for quantifying GI issues. It is simple to use and the data collected makes it easy to provide accurate answers to your GI doc. It is easy to add notes, such as food you’ve eaten, new medications, etc. A great feature is that the notes are visible in the list view. I did upgrade, and I do recommend this to anyone who has any type of GI issue, or is trying to figure out what may be causing issues.

One feature I would like to see is the ability to select a date range for the reports. Also, I think the averages are calculated on the total number of days elapsed since the first entry, not the total number of entries.
