  • Life-changing good

If you're looking for an app to help you sleep, wake up, focus and energize (often all in the same day), look no further. Crazy simple to use, which defies the sound science and impressive technology that lies just beneath the surface. Worth every cent.
  • Totally brilliant app worth every penny

Totally brilliant app. You can create and mix a large number of atmospheric sounds to different levels to create something unique for you and that suits you and the mood you require at that time. This really is an exceptional app. My partner is going to use it as she is a yoga teacher teaching sixteen lesson a week. The question I have asked the team is can you save the ones you want to use again. Hope the answer is yes cause that would be the icing on the app. 🙏😃👍🏼

  • Great app!

A really nice app. Thanks! Like how some of the randomness comes in and out nicely with ability to choose preferred sounds. Only one thing I could suggest has already been suggested. Would really like ability to save the settings and name. Allow time to have option to save or not.
  • By far the best binaural entrainment!

I’ve tried entrainment apps from about half a dozen different companies. They’re all ok, but force you to listen to their music, or their nature sounds grate on you quickly, or you can’t change the volume level of each component. Ananda fixes EVERYTHING. You can enable or disable individual sounds. You’re never forced to listen to something someone else thought was relaxing but you don’t. And every part is always just as loud or quiet as you want it to be. ...and then there’s the INCREDIBLE entrainment! I have found no other app that starts the frequencies and pitches closer to where you are and then slowly shifts you into the state it wants and even (depending on the program) shifts you back. It’s a MASSIVE improvement over the other options I’ve found. Plus, you can easily set the session to be exactly as long or short as you want or have time for. I recommend Ananda to everyone I meet who is looking for something even close to what it provides and I’ve never heard a bad review. You owe it to yourself to snag this one immediately.

Hey there ! Thanks for the review :) I'm happy you're enjoying Ananda !!
  • Not reliable when listening only one sound

I asked the team to fix issues but they didn’t so I thought if I write this review they would do something to fix the problems: annoying birds sounds cutting very loudly and suddenly the chosen theme sound especially when in a combination of two or three sounds, Aum sound missing in a certain chosen combination. Binaural beats are sometimes skipped when playing. That’s too bad as I really like the concept of this app.

  • Iphone X ios 13.1

Play button disappears. You can’t ever start a session.

    Developer Response

Hey there, Yes the play button “disappears” but it will appear once you tap it. Try turning the wheel clockwise to set the session duration first then tap the Center of the wheel to start. The full set of instructions is also available from the settings menu. Contact me at info@getananda.com if the situation persists. Cheers :)
  • WOW! Just love it!

A friend recommended it and it is just what I was hoping to find. I love how I can pick all my favorite sounds and then they gently change during the meditation. Very beautiful. Thank you for the brilliant app!
  • I like the customization

I use Ananda to improve my focus when I’m trying to perform tasks. Even when medicated I still struggle with adult ADHD. I’ve used the Focus & Concentration setting a lot, and it makes things like journaling go much faster. I’m sure I will be trying out several of the other settings in the near future.

The controls are very simple. It did take me a little effort to fully grasp them, though. The help documentation is actually, well, helpful! It explains that whatever sounds you check are sort of woven into your meditation randomly. Pretty awesome.

I didn’t care for all the sounds being checked at first. That’s a lot of tapping to uncheck if you don’t want a ton of different sounds. Needs a toggle to check or uncheck all.

One thing I’d like to see is the ability to save meditations. I would like to save my length, meditation type, and specific sound selections for easy playback later. Like, I would like to save a 20 minute Focus & Concentration meditation with just nature sounds as “Journaling”.

All in all, I like Ananda very much.
