  • No digital copies

    Thought the app was great at first. Renewed my print subscription and added digital copies at the same time. First month was great, now it wants me to buy my digital copy. Ummmm, that's what I did last month. Log in, links are dead. Link to report a missing issue leads nowhere. Very, very frustrating and disappointing.

  • Mag is great. Customer support horrible.

    Enjoyed the first year. Clicked OK for auto renew. My Apple account was charged, but subscription not renewed. After multiple contacts with MAKE and Apple still no subscription. Just a finger pointing contest.
    The best solution anyone can come up with: Refund my money and re-subscribe (not happening).
    Terrible customer support.

  • Please update for iPad Pro

    It's an okay reading experience. A bit janky with downloading issues, etc. Please update to take advantage of the iPad Pro.
  • After a year, totally disappointed and frustrated

    If you enjoy getting spending time with customer service then this is the app for you.

    It worked at first then issues started missing pages. Countless reloads, re-installs and calls to customer service.

    I finally gave up and tried just buying a bigger faster iPad. Now I lost my back issues and I have two concurrent subscriptions. Customer service takes many days to return ineffective answers.

  • Fails constantly

    I love this magazine. However, the IPad app is a disaster. It rarely works. I get errors downloading issues I have purchased. Some downloaded issues will not display. And now it will not let me sign in, even though I can on the website with same credentials and I cannot access any of the issues I have purchased.

    Great magazine, but don't count on this app to let you read it.

  • Really poor

    Content ok but iPad app useless. No navigation between issues and still can't work out how to unsubscribe (suspect it is well hidden on purpose) it doesn't integrate with bookshelf either
  • paid service - does not deliver

    bought the issue I wanted, 2 articles do not download, after about a quarter-through goes into pause and then starts again to stop at the same place. I am on a measured internet and do not want to retry 30 times.
    Poor product at a premium price.
  • Great, but...

    Magazine is great! But the app is unable to download all pages. In each issue, I have about 5 pages impossible to download (infinite loop of slow downloading, then paused and restart to zero).
  • App is Bad. Seems Fixable.

    I gave this app a low rating because:

    1) I bought a 1-year subscription last weekend through the Make: Magazine iPad app. The current issue MAKE 44 did not become available when I paid for the subscription and is still prompting to "Buy Issue". [UPDATE June 20, 2015] the next issue after the date I paid for the subscription, MAKE 45, became available for download when it was released. The waiting time from date I purchased the subscription until the next issue was about 3 or 4 weeks. I suspect I may not be the only one who gets confused about this.

    2) Make: Magazine iPad app is not in the iOS News Stand with all other magazines. Instead, it is with other general purpose apps. I hope Make: Magazine will fix this.

    Now that the subscription has started, the content is great.

  • Won't download mags

    I have been trying to download my first issue for the last 4 days. I called the 800 help line twice, and sent 3 emails. No help. I constantly receive a "cannot connect to server" error. It's not my internet connection since I have not been having problems with any other app. Paid for ezine and signed up for premier recurrent auto pay.

    Not seeing any premier service.

    I WOULD THINK A TECH MAGAZINE COULD 'MAKE' THEIR APP WORK!!
