  • Travel alerts are super helpful

    This is a big improvement. I love the common journeys and automatic journey alerts. I’ve setup the key journeys I make regularly and don’t need to remember to check before I reach the station. If there are any issues I just get a message to let me know

    It was so easy and all the tickets on the phone

    It is absolutely ridiculous too complicated
    Not enough information and text over text
    When you look at the train times and arrival times times of the train the text overlaps schoolboy error it is 2024. How can you make such silly mistakes on something that thousands of people have got to use? Come on? It’s like we’re going to Foodwell country nowadays everything is backward you say Upgrade, but to me, it’s a backward step each time, I want to go from Norwood junction to West Norwood it says no direct route instead of saying there are no trains today on this network it’s not rocket science come on get it right the app now one star would be too much in the beginning ridiculous

  • Useless worse than useless

    I’m partially sited and to use your app I have to change the parameters on my phone to meet the Text size small small because none of your boxes fit into the larger tech size. It’s worse than useless. Whoever did this app has never tried it using a larger font, so for that reason you only got two stars when really you should’ve got None

  • Ok… but

    Once I got used to new layout found it so much easier to buy tickets than the old app. However I could not believe that purchased e-tickets didn’t go straight to the My tickets section of the app. Unless there is something I’m missing?
    I had go to my email and then download them to my phone’s wallet. Ok that was a straight forward process but what is the point of having a My tickets tab if the tickets you buy don’t automatically go into it. Seems nonsensical. Why the additional unnecessary step.
    Also the option to pay with apple wallet would be helpful.
    Due to those two glaring errors I will go back to using Trainline as my purchasing platform and just use the southern app for information.

  • Updated app looks great but doesn’t work

    The new UI has some great features, including showing me previous tickets bought, but unfortunately every time I try to buy my monthly travel card through the app I keep getting the same message “not enough time to collect tickets, tickets have been removed from basket”.

    This means I’m unable to use it! Add to that the fact that the local ticket office doesn’t open till 10 past 6, it means I’m not able to buy a ticket there either!

    This needs to be fixed asap

  • This app pointless to me.

    Nice improvements to the overall design in the app, but I simply can’t buy flexi tickets from it anymore, which was my main reason for having it.
    It was tricky before, but somehow I found a work around, but it’s impossible now.
    If improvements don’t happens soon I’ll be deleting it.
  • Dreadful update

    This is a terrible update.
    Please restore the previous version.

    Annoying advert banner when you start up.

    The text size is poorly formatted, text overlaps.

    It does not remember your last departure/destination so you have to keep re-inputting this data each time you use the app. So annoying!

    You still have not included the number of carriages for each train even though I asked for this over a year ago. This data is already there - it’s on the display boards so it’s beyond me why you can’t pull that info into the app.
