Less features than web based app
Developer says you can control the fan in the A/C with this app but actually you cannot. There is no option to even create the fan component of the A/C as a device. Lowering rating from 2 stars to 1 star for the bad nonexistent workaround suggestion. They clearly did not even try this.pcjr
Would be great if it worked
The app “works” on IOS, but you can’t add any devices to a scene, so basically it is useless. You would have thought this would have warranted an update in less than the 4 months since the last release date.Homerbrew
Ezlo
Left Wink for Vera Ezlo plus. The support is great. All but two devices converted. It appears the current version of the app does not handle all the functionality of the Ezlo plus. Geofence is not even in the menus even though I get notices on my phone that Ezlo is using my location. Alerts don’t seem to work. Connectivity to Google Home doesn’t work. The documentation out there doesn’t match the menus in this app. To set notifications I had to go to the website and set them there. I have been told a new app is in development. I have about 30 devices working now. The dashboard design is great. Hope that doesn’t change. Waiting patiently. I think it will be a great product.Show lessDlr2000
Ezlo secure stopped working!!!
Very disappointed. I have the Vera edge which is amazing. But ezlo secure is not. It worked for about 6 months and now is doesn’t. Technical support takes while to back to you and they call you, you cannot call them only send emails. It’s beyond frustrating. So many bugs.hrhsabrina
First Apple Watch
Installed the app on my wife’s phone No support for Apple Watch You had a number of updates please bring back Apple Watch support i’ve been with you guys for many years few problemsI’ve had I was able to solve myself I believe one time I need a tech support you guys got right back to me it was deeply appreciated. Ezlo can not be accessed through the website, app based only that keeps crashing.
I purchased a thermostat from Vera and have tried to set up scenes unsuccessfully. The support team has been working on it for over two weeks and I haven’t heard from them in over a week. Wish I would have never upgraded to Ezlo.
Update. After four months, 114 emails and one conference call it appears the app doesn’t work on the thermostat with iOS. Not verified yet. So I’m disappointed.

Jesus was very helpful in attempting to resolve our issue. Unfortunately he feels our Apple devices may have a bug related to the app continuously crashing. He has referred our problem to his engineering department and we are hoping for a successful resolution!inGratitudeForBooksLike This
Best Home Automation App
I’ve been using the Vera app to control two home automation systems for the last decade. Both Vera Plus systems have been rock solid. I’ve had no major issues. When I’ve encountered occasional issues with a new Z-Wave device, Vera customer support has always been there to help.
This iOS app does almost everything, from setting up a Vera controller to controlling devices to setting up scenes.

I was having trouble with my controller going offline only to return on its own shortly thereafter. I emailed on a weekend and was shocked to receive an email addressing my problem within a few minutes. They were able to remotely troubleshoot the issue and it has worked fine since then. Excellent Support like Gold!
The VeraPlus Advanced Home Controller isn’t the most intuitive thing to set up using this app or the WebUI. However with all of the incredible capabilities for controlling devices once you get them set up is extremely empowering in so many ways! Not only can you observe the status and control so many devices throughout your home and property but you can do it from virtually anywhere! One of the most amazing aspects of this app and VeraPlus Controller along with the devices you add & control is the incredible technical support staff! I’d have to rate this product support group as the most responsive and helpful support I’ve ever dealt with, by far! Quick responses to my original question to setup the controller and for all my follow-up questions to setup a Z-Wave deadbolt and PIN codes with start & end dates & times. Once they explained what I was missing, the regular operation of these tasks are easily repeatable and flawless in their performance.
