  • Simple and non-techy friendly.

Great app. I also have on my iPhone and laptop. I’m a big fan of avast and use over other devices due to it’s simplicity and reliability. I’ve only ever had one issue where app was negatively effected by an update, however this was rectified within a few days and fix provided. The interface is simple, fast learnability, and user friendly. Just install the profile as instructed, select your sub and then select the connection via the app and that’s you connected. No need to configure anything for yourself. I have used avast products for over 2 years now and other than the afore mentioned and one other issue where the VPN dropped out twice in one day (only on iPad) I have had nothing to complain about. Thanks Avast for speedy fix and a great product.

We apologise for the inconvenience! This is fixed with the new version 5.0.1. Please, try to update the version. Thank you.
  • Incompetence...

Super slow Internet speeds would be the first concern... but I purchased a multi year subscription for my primary laptop, and now to renew just an iPad subscription which I personally purchased separately they want me to pay $60 a year just for one iPad even though I’ve already paid for the computer? That’s $120 year. The service department is brutally incompetent... i’m moving over to TunnelBear idiots. This isn’t a fast service anyway it’s rather pokey.

  • Poor...

Having use this product for number of years, I was surprised to find out that I had issues when I purchased a new IPhone X. Their customer/technical support was unable to resolve my concerns and problems. I had no choice but to go with another product. The kicker is I had over a year remaining on my original subscription and customer service is refusing to refund even a portion of that amount.

  • Firewall bypass

If the firewall bypass function can be enhanced would be better
  • New update...

The new update really not helps and makes it worst.

Before i had problems my iOS kept disconnecting my wifi and freezing every two hours, now the new update disconnects every 20 mins... and i have different vpns at home for my computers and iPads and all work perfectly, and again all ports and everything is open for the vpn service and configured correctly, it really is a nightmare, please fix this and the kill switch doesn't work probably when the wifi crushes and switches to 4g works for 10 seconds opened and then crushes everything and i would need to reconfigure everything and turn everything off and on really annoying !!🤬

  • Pay to use

Dont install these types of apps which are asking to pay for the useless things
  • Please fix

The VPN auto connects even when I turn it off n turn off auto connect feature. the VPN turns on when I’m using my cellular data and WiFi is turned off. Also a feature to add trusted WiFi connection cause it turns on when I’m on my secure home WiFi and also when I’m on my tether phone connection or mifi which is also secure.

  • Meets my security needs

I have been using AVAST Secure Line VPN for about a year. It was a little pricey when I got it last year but, they have since made this product much more competitive. It works flawlessly and very easy to use. I have seen other reviewers for other services talk about having multiple locations. However, I feel there are plenty of locations to choose from with Secure Line.
I became aware of this service with my PC AVAST virus protection where they offer secure Line with the service as an option that has worked well for me. So I have confidence in the product for my IPhone and IPad.

  • Doesn’t work with Netflix

Specifically says in their advertising that it lets you watch geo-restricted content. I travel in the us and want to browse safely on public hotspots so I use SecureLine, but with Netflix I have to choose whether I want to be safe or if I want to watch Netflix. I don’t even want to watch stuff that’s outside where I’m at. I understand that Netflix is the one imposing the rule, however avasts advertising should be clearer that it doesn’t always work for geo restricted content and possible specifically call out that it doesn’t support that feature with Netflix.
