To truly appreciate this App, You need a ‘basic+’ grasp on reading “Standard Notation”

The “bass” sounds ‘tin-ish’ on play back! The dev’s could add options for different “tunings”, flats vs. rounds, even different string configurations (4, 5, 6-strings, etc.). The biggest plus (+) would be an option for adding ‘tablature’ with\without standard notation.
The App is a Great service given forward to seasoned & aspiring bass players! The only thing, I implore you to do, is promote reading composition, at the least tablature for bassists, so they can grow as musicians!

Surprisingly good

Some nice material on here to get you playing some riffs. Seems like on other apps everything’s behind a paywall. Lo recomendaría

Nothing

Absolutely amazing

I don’t know why other people complained about the headstock being left handed. It is extremely easy to play along with! I love it. Been playing for a while and picked it up to help clean up my music. Came from a guitar so I am used to chord playing and being able to strum through mistakes. I love the app! Different speeds and with or without a band. Doesn’t use tab so you can play what they show you on the fretboard or move it around to play a more closed position. Thanks for this! Definately worth my time.

Can’t change the bass layout

This is fun, but the bass guitar is laid out for a left landed person with the headstock to the right. Can’t flip it over.

Transcription error

In Rock 11 and 12 (and possibly elsewhere) the low F on the E string (F1 in standard tuning) is played as F# on the neck map below and in the accompanying music. Additionally in Rock 11, in the 4th bar the last note has a natural symbol where I believe a flat is intended as the key is not one in which the note would be flatted or sharped. Nor was the note anything but natural previously in the exercise.

Despite the infrequent transcription errors, this app is a great help to my sight reading abilities and practice on the bass. Thank you so much for creating it. One last thing that would help, if I may. The neck map should be rotated 180 degrees so that the head is pointing to the left which is the way the student will see the bass as they are playing it while using the app…unless they are playing it upside down.

Great beginner tool!

If you already master the plucking and muting technique, it is a cool way to practice some tunes without a band.
