Why would we Subscribe to an app that cost $20?

I understand this app is very useful. Our use it almost every day at work. I work in the hospital so heโ€™s going to translate Spanish and Arabic and creel. But for $20 a year it is not worth it. Now if it was 10 yes I would be paying in an instant for the premium. The pop ups are annoying and the worst part is it uses some of your translations and doesnโ€™t let you finish typing them because the commercial/add cut you off and makes you wait 30 seconds. I believe this app could go if our way. But the price range for itโ€™s a little absurd. I would like for yโ€™all to rethink the price range. Maybe offer different packages but 20 bucks to just translate isnโ€™t a good deal.

Free trial auto renews to paid subscription

I signed up for a free trial - however it then automatically renewed and charged me a subscription cost.

Thanks for the message. The application does not initiate a payment unless you subscribe for Premium. You can always cancel it through your device Settings - iTunes & App Store - Apple ID - View Apple ID - Subscriptions - Manage.

To many pop up ads

UPDATE: the app still has occasional pop-ups but thatโ€™s expected of a free app. It works good.

I have used this app for about 6 months. My wife is Chinese and knows some English but sometimes words, phrases or topics need some explaining or more details.
The apps always had ad pop-ups but recently the pop-ups come every time I begin to write something. Not only distracting but requires me to re-type what I was writing because the pop-up came have a sentence in.

The pop-ups HAVE TO GO

This app is very handy and easy to use, but the free version has become a NIGHTMARE due to the pop-up ads. Literally every time you launch the app it will send a delayed pop-up that usually interrupts your typing, automatically sending whatever you have typed in the text field to that point. It is especially annoying because you only get a set amount of translations per day, and half of them get wasted on the half-filled sentences that are sent once the ads pop onto your screen. There are plenty of other free apps out there that may not be as easy to use, but at least they wonโ€™t harass you every time you open the program!!

Too many ads to translate.

I had to close out of 4 ads (2 of which took me out of the app) before I could even select the languages wanted. Then was finally ready to go more ads popped up preventing me from being able to speak a full sentence.
Not sure if it works as a translator. Ads seem to be working though.

These functionality limitations in the app are compensated by the fact that itโ€™s free. Please consider checking our portfolio for the applications with no ads that are available for download on different terms.

More ADs than functionality.

This App is just an AD ploughing medium.
I tried many times to translate some test phrases and each time the App got it wrong 3/5 times and I would see 1-2 ADs pop up each time.
If you can put up with that, you get a very limited number of usages per day, so of the 6 or so test phrases I tried, I was served 10-15 ADs and the App translated it incorrectly.
In summary, don't bother with this. It is cripple-ware and it does not give you enough usage to help you decide whether to get the PAID version, and from my brief testing, I can find no reason to compel me to upgrade to the Pro version of this.
You'll be better off using the Google Translator.

Thanks for your feedback. We would like to make the app better and more useful for you. In case you have any ideas on how the app could be improved - please let us know. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

All about adverts and upgrading

Translations seem quite accurate but it's not particularly user friendly and one can hardly make a move without an advert taking over, or a prompt to purchase the upgrade. Limits per day are annoying especially when the adverts push the translate before your sentence is even finished. Trickery I suspect. I'm cancelling and going back to google translate.

Probably ok without ads etc DELETED!

Just downloaded free version and cannot enable Speech-to-speech function as, even though prompted to enable in a pop-up screen-blocking box which directs to Settings, no setting switch exists for this.
Also, as I cannot enable Speech-to-Speech, each time I have tried to use the type-to-type function, pop-up screen-blocking ads appear and require dismissing before I can continue... which due to the constant interruption of app blocking ads, I cant do either.
I detest being patronised with ads, so until this free version becomes ad free, it wonโ€™t be on my iphone. DELETED!
