We've changed the way the scoring of the mini-games works. It's now possible to get a full five stars for a song without playing a mini-game at all, based on your artist stats and staff skills alone. Playing the mini-games will now give a temporary boost to your artist's stats, affecting the quality of the song in turn.

We’ve been listening to your feedback about bugs and we’ve working hard to get them sorted, we’ll be keeping an eye on your comments to check that we’re on track. A lot of you felt that artists were getting demotivated too quickly, okay maybe we were being too harsh, we’ve eased things off on that a little. Some of you have been finding the mini-games a little too tricky so we’ve completely overhauled them, they’ve got a new look that’s easier on the eye and we’ve made them more responsive. We’ve sharpened up gameplay in the mini-games and we’ve added new chords, sequences and rhythms to keep you on your toes. A sleep timer has been added, to stop your artists getting wiped out if you leave them unattended for more than a minute. On older devices, you should see less crashing and get a snappier experience in general - we’ve been optimising! Your comments have been really useful and we’re continuing to look at improvements so look out for more updates soon.
