Update broke the software
Been using the system and software for about three years, then saw an update on the App Store which claimed to be bug fixes. Updated, and now live video stopped working (on three different iPhones); please fix ASAP.Shoobie_Doobie

Stopped working after iOS update. Mac version also not working. Support is very badLJA42
Recent problems
I've had this app for a couple years now and 90% of the time it works great! However as of several months ago I get the "authority limited" warning when connecting. You can click it away and everything works so no big deal. But now the remote playback section has a bug. In the calendar view the numbers disappeared from the days.. it's just a blank calendar so you have to know the layout of the current month to pick the correct day. It still works to review... just don't know what day until clicked. Hopefully the developer fixes the bug or I will have to go elsewhere. I have reinstalled the app several times with no fix.
And on the wish-list I would like to see multiple camera playback instead of just one at a time.Show lessTH182

Works great for us. Never stalls out, opens up eight cameras live view. My only wish is to use be able to download videos to my computer from remote play back.TATTOOMIKEY88

Connects instantly with 16 cameras. Real-time view. It would be perfect if it worked with Apple Watch.DeVon Sport
Terrible
Bought and installed the new system. Tried to use the app. Click on app and live view and it says limited authority. I've deleted and re-added the device multiple times but it refuses to allow me to just click live view right off if the bat and see. I have to click device and wait for it to connect. It only connects like 10% of the time. Thinking about taking these back. Q-see is much betterShow lesssamnewland
Works only when on same network
Works only when you are on the same network as the system. When I am at home I can view my cameras. Same is now true to view on my computer. I do not know why the remote viewing by computer ceased. I am waiting for someone else to create a system. I assume that I will be able to use the same cameras.Show lessRalph Burfdad
Unreliable
I only give this a 1 star as there is no option for 0. Overall the app is nice and has good features....when it works. Easily 8 out of 10 times you open the app you cannot see the live view. I have not had issues pulling up old footage saved remotely however the most important part of using the app is the live viewing. I bought my system from DefenderUSA mainly because it had remote viewing. There is no point in having it when it doesn't work. Good product with great potential just needs better support and updates.Show lessJHasper1
Works fine for me
I needed an app that lets me view my cameras and that's just what this one does. I am not trying to manage my system remotely, if I want to do that I will log in via computer. The instructions could be a little more detailed. Tip: when entering your IP address just key in the numbers & dots, not the http:// part. I would suggest setting up a laptop to connect remotely first. This will help you get the port forwarding & *external* IP address sorted out before trying to do it on the phone.Show lessSdertyjtrev
