Love this app!

I never write reviews but I was looking for an app that would turn my iPad into a digital frame so I could use it traveling.. and this app is perfect! Easy to use and has all the features of my digital frame at home. Thank you!!

Please add ability to connect NAS

Adding this functionality would be amazing.

Finally, a way to shuffle a shared photo album

This app should not exist. There is no reason for it whatsoever except that Apple doesn’t include the ability to RANDOMLY show a slideshow!

But I am glad I finally found it. I wish I could actually change the transitions (still fades when set to None) and just show black behind a photo

Perfect for iPad 2 on iOS 9.3.5!

Buy the no ads upgrade on a more modern version of iOS, otherwise it’s completely useless as I kept getting hung up on the payment verification screen on the old iPad since it wouldn’t load. So I bought it on a newer iPhone then transferred the purchase seamlessly. I just wish videos would also play or there was an option to skip any videos so they don’t show up in the slideshow.

Great app to upcycle old iPad into a digital frame

Great app to upcycle your old iPad into a digital frame

Good app and worth the price

The only improvement I would recommend is for you to be able to filter photos by orientation, so if your iPad is in portrait mode then only portrait photos are displayed

Simply the best (but video capability would be so, so nice!)

I’ve struggled for years to find the perfect photo frame software for my iPad. Apple’s own slideshow feature crashed if you tried to display too many photos. Other software wouldn’t support the old iPad I was trying to repurpose as a frame. Some programmers thought you’d only want to view photos in a single album (seriously?).

But LiveFrame checks (almost) ALL the boxes.

It lets you select multiple photo albums on your iPad, or chose on-line sources (don’t know if you can mix and match). The time and weather overlays are elegant. The ability to pause and swipe left/right to view other photos is so cool, and the little film strip of images is brilliant! You have granular control over almost every aspect of the display. Even setting the sleep and wake time is well-designed.

I’m gushing, I know!

What’s missing? The ability to play videos. I shoot a lot of video to capture the essence of events or places, so that was almost a deal-breaker. But the developer has said it’s coming. So I have faith. 🙏🏻

This is one of those apps that’s a no-brainer. Thanks Attibo!

Nearly Perfect

I had an old iPad 2, good for music and a few old apps, and this app takes that old iPad and turns it into a lovely photo frame.

Very easy to setup and connects right to my Google Photos. I'd say this does a better job of listing albums in Google photos than Google Photos doee

Reason why this isn't 5 star: - needs a toggle to filter out videos from picture slide show.

Price is reasonable, however the initial trial period is so brief, it's really hard to evaluate the app to see if it is worth the money. I'd suggest adding a banner option to extend the trial.

Great app, I'll be checking for updates

the most user unfriendly program I have ever run into

I tried to follow the instructions on accessing albums on my ipad, but i have not been able to find them, the instrustions are a total waste of time, and contacting the developer is also a waste of time as they tell you to go to the instructions.
Got rid of the program, was a nice idea to repurpose an old ipad, but sorry, the frustration was too much

It took my initial negative review to get the developers attention. Thankfully the you Tube link provided clarified my problem. Upgraded my review from a 1 * to 3*.

Response from developer

Thanks for the message. Sorry to hear about your experience. There is a video demonstrating how to access specific albums using LiveFrame. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5cEVTfyqDE

Connect local nas

I like others use this app on an old iPad and is great at that. What would be useful if I could connect to a nas on my local network where I have all my photos stored in stead of having connect via internet or download them onto the device.
