Weather option stopped working after last update

I have this app on three devices and love it, but right after the latest update the option of showing the weather stopped working on all three and shows - - now. Two different WiFi’s and LTE network, same problem.

Wonderful Slideshow on my iPad 2

I’m now using my old iPad 2 as a digital photo frame. This app is very nice and can display my photos randomly (shuffle) in full screen. The clock is a nice addition! Many thanks!

You're welcome, enjoy LiveFrame!

Great use for old iPad mini.

I had an old gen1 iPad mini that was not really good for anything. I downloaded Liveframe and initially had some problems but they worked with me for a couple of weeks to sort it out. Works great now! Highly recommended.

Needs some work

Spent $5 based on reviews and then found issues with the way this works. First of all, the shuffle option only shuffles within an album. Why doesn’t it shuffle across all albums? Secondly, videos come up and have a big “play” symbol. The symbol does nothing and the video doesn’t play. There should be an option to skip videos or don’t put a big symbol over the video! Please fix!

Good app. Has most features I want

I’m really stoked that a feature to fill the black bars with a blurred version of the same photo has been added so that the iPad screen is filled out better.

The settings for the slide show are a bit awkward to manipulate. The interface isn't quite right.

Here are some other features I’d love to see:

- have the slideshow schedule be able to actually turn off the screen and resume the slide show the next day

- add ability to use a bokeh blur instead of Gaussian for the background effect and adjust the darkness

- add advanced portrait mode/photos with depth features like the 3D effect on Facebook or have the focus shift through the photo

- auto brightness similar to what the Google Home devices use

Thank you for your feedback! Many of the features you are requesting for are already on our list for future updates. Stay tuned! Also, LiveFrame currently has an Auto Shutdown setting that will stop the slideshow at a provided time. You can find this setting in the settings menu when the slideshow is paused.

Superb photo slideshow app

This is the only app I could find which works with Dropbox — there were other apps that used to but they have all been withdrawn. And it works really well! Also good support - very helpful!

Thank you for the great review! Glad we could help!

Backward compatibility

I finally got this working on an old iPad mini to work as a picture frame. The two non-obvious steps were disabling lock screen mode (settings only available during the slideshow) and paying to avoid ads. Very happy.

I then went to install this on a second, older iPad v1 that only has ios5. I was happy to see that there was a version available (it appears some of the data feeds are limited, but I can live with that). But now it appears there is a problem with “restoring prior purchase”. It isn’t working for me.

Should my payment give me access on multiple machines? Do I need to buy it again?

Glad to hear you're enjoying LiveFrame! We're curious to hear more from you about your disabling the lock screen issue. Could you email us info@attibo.com and provide details because we are not aware of this issue and we would like to fix it. There should not be an issue restoring your purchase on devices as long as you are using the same Apple ID that you made the purchase under. You could also try restarting the device.

Good but...

All photos are formatted to be square so there is no full screen view on the iPad. Black bars fill in the space on the side to create the square format. All other features are great and I wanted to like this app. If I’m missing something it would be cool to find out what it is. I went through all the settings options and found nothing about viewing photos as full screen images.

Thanks for your message! We plan to get this into a future update, but currently there is no way to remove the black bars around the photo. The closest option right now is to change the transition to "Pan and Zoom".

Almost perfect

I love this app! I wanted to use an old iPad as a digital frame, but the native Apple Photos app was too limiting. LiveFrame has great options for timing and transitions, and I love that it can automatically turn off at night.

It would be nice to have an option to display the date the photo was taken instead of today’s date. Especially when I’m displaying photos that were taken years ago. That would make LiveFrame “Perfect” instead of “Almost”.

Thanks for the feedback. That's an interesting idea that we will add to our list for consideration in a future update!

Finally found the app that shows photos simply

I love this app, and I’ve been searching for one just like it for literally years.
The only thing wrong is the dissolve fade takes too long. I wish it could be switched off.
Otherwise useful configuration and flawless operation.

Response from developer

We're really glad to hear you're still enjoying LiveFrame! In our last update (1.11.11), we added the option to remove the photo transitions. You can find this setting in the settings options under "Photo Transition". There you will find 3 options - Fade, Pan and Zoom and None. If you select None, it will switch off the photo transition. If you have any trouble locating the setting, you can get in touch with us on Facebook or email (info@attibo.com).
