Hello, I downloaded this app probably about early 2022 or late 2021. It’s been a great app for just storing photos & keeping memories. However, earlier this month I was running out of storage and decided that I would delete the app and redownload it when I wanted to find certain pictures; but this wasn’t the case. When I redownloaded the app, I found that all my photos and videos have been deleted and so far the only way to retrieve them, (from what I’ve seen) is to have previously purchased the membership.. meaning I have no way of retrieving my previous pictures.
I would really appreciate a response on if this is truly the only way to get my photos back or if there is another way to get them because this truly upset me.

Dear Customer, the photos are saved in the app local storage on the phone. When the app is deleted, iOS will delete all the photos together. We are not able to recover your photos, sorry. If you will continue to use PV, you can manually back up photos to PC or another phone, this transfer feature is free. You can also subscribe to our Pro member to backup to your Google Drive. If you don't want to backup manually, you can subscribe to the Super membership, then your photos will be backed up automatically. Thanks.Terrified to update
Last time I updated the app, I lost everything. The company claims the updates don’t delete the photos, but it did. Not sure if it was a glitch in the update or not.
Otherwise, it’s a decent app, but could be improved. The remove duplicate photos and remove similar photos often miss a lot of duplicates and similar photos. I pay to remove the adds, along with other features and I personally think the subscription is worth it.
I love the different albums you can create and the different layouts you can choose for the albums. I do love how easy it is to import the photos from your phone with the option to delete the photos from your camera roll after they upload, and how easy it is to export the photos from your albums with the option to delete the photos from the app. I also love that I can transfer the photos from one device to another and the albums transfer as well. So if you transfer album A to another device, they will automatically appear in the same titled album on the new device. So, you don’t have to recreate the albums.Show lessBrooklyn Siriano

Purchased this app end of 2021, leaving this review end of 2022. I purchased the Super 20G package. The fact is it’s an okay app, however, the major fail and reason I leave 1-star is because the feature you pay for doesn’t operate entirely. The syncing of files. Uploading files is fine, albeit slow, it works, but deleting files almost never syncs with the cloud. I had to remind the app developer every-single-time I offloaded the cloud to fix it so it would offload. It should do it on its own, this makes this app non-fucntional and personally a waste of money. I’ve instead gone with a secure cloud service to manually do my backups, I don’t need to hide them from anyone being as my phone is mine, and, there are more secure cloud services than what this app creator offers ( not to mention much faster ). I uploaded 3GB of files today and it took 55 seconds, 3GB in this app takes hours, and, you need to keep the app open and in the foreground. The only other complaint I hate is that, the uploading is very, very slow. I am on a fiber connection, my phone alone is 450up/down, that’s on Wi-Fi and it takes this app over an hour to upload 1GB of content. I’m taking my business elsewhere.Show lesscoaktgx
The Best Ever
I have had this app for almost 6 years now and when I say it is the best thing ever I mean that. The different codes, the camouflage image, the ability to copy a pic to hide and delete the original from my photos is just awesome. My sone never opens it my boyfriend doesn't even notice it. Does the app really do encryption?
The app looks good with very nice UI. It offers uploading to third party cloud services as a cloud backup (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Box) with pro subscription. I purchased the lifetime pro. However, the uploaded (backup) photos and videos are not encrypted at all. So, wandering if the app really encrypts the photos imported to the apps at the first place or just hide the photos behind a lock folder. If the app doesn't do encryption, it would be huge security concern for the users. If it do encryption then why the uploaded (backup to third party cloud) photos and videos are not encrypted. this app is so good you can make folder to organize your pictures from going to 1200 pictures i now have 50 but i still didn’t lose the phone i can get to them at any time i really thank God for it my phone has so much storage now thank you God bless you amazing app 🤍🤍thankGodforthisappnicole
Kindly Add Feature that exports and imports files by ORIGINAL or edited name
MY FAVORITE APP ! Every feature i need , search option is so helpful , BUT HUGE FEATURES MISSING - biggest difficulty is that IT DOES NOT SAVE THE IMPORTED FILE BY ITS NAME !!! And if rename inside PV and export and import again , Again name is wiped ! And have to rename it again , HUGE DRAWBACK ! Why cant we add and export files with same name like every other hide app does ,,,, And 2nd STAGGERED VIEW , need to view long pics so that view is preferred , kindly add these 2 features , importing exporting by name feature is TOP missing featureShow lessAdnan101
Was great at first
Was great until I got a new phone. Backed up albums to computer. Now can’t get them all back to new phone. I select a bunch and add them via chrome. It only copies a fraction of them. So I tried smaller batches of less than 100. Still hundreds of missing photos. Also creates duplicates in the transfer somehow. So now this paid app is useless to me.Show lessAlerogls
Best vault app for the value
This app isn’t super cheap, but having your photos backed up a a separate lockable cloud is totally worth it. I like the organization and it’s an easy to use interface. I just wish it had a computer app because I don’t want an iPad but I wouldn’t mind being able to use a slideshow on my computer to view my picturesShow lessMarlowe1991

Love the app. One feature request is when I am playing the video and I minimize it, I want it to keep playing in a small window (many apps do that, there will be an arrow when you swipe that small window)BlueSkyHSP
