Disappointing Performance and Usability
The Genesis iPhone app has been a frustrating experience. To start, the app is incredibly slow, with significant lag in loading screens and sending commands. The user interface feels clunky and far from user-friendly, making navigation a chore rather than a seamless experience.
Even when commands finally go through, they often don’t work as intended. For example, valet mode on the app shows as “active,” but in the car, it’s not—it’s completely out of sync with the vehicle. These inconsistencies make the app unreliable and nearly useless for essential features.
It doesn’t stop there. The app doesn’t even work properly for my partner, compounding the frustration. The lack of functionality and the mismatch between the app and the car’s settings are deal-breakers. This app has potential, but right now, it’s plagued by poor performance, bad design, and unreliable operation. I expected much more from a premium brand like Genesis. Fixing these issues should be a priority.
