Notes feature would help!
I’d give this 5 stars, but I saw a review that requested a “notes” feature and I completely agree! I use my phone’s Notes app to help me with some of the more layered puzzles (ie. the parking space one!). It would be nice to be able to take notes or draw inside of the app, instead of having to switch back and forth between apps.
Absolutely incredible app
This app is so extremely satisfying for anyone looking to exercise their brain. Like I mentioned, I’ve completed all but one puzzle—the Extreme 4x5 titled Free Parking. It’s been driving me crazy for over a year now and I LOVE the challenge!! I periodically revisit it whenever I need to really work my brain.
My only “complaint” is that I’m dying for more puzzles!
Not as good as it was

Edit: We're working with Penny Dell to switch back to the earlier type of puzzles. Based on your and similar feedback, we asked and they checked and found they had switched sources from one of their logic puzzle magazine collections to a different one. We'll have some more of the earlier style puzzles (with authors) coming out in the next couple of months with a little luck.Original: Hi, thanks for this review. Do you mind emailing support@eggheadgames.com with some examples? Penny Dell should be supplying us with the same quality puzzles for new volumes, and I'm definitely not aware of the same clues being (re)used and would particularly like an example of that too so we can fix it. Thanks, Michael @ Egghead Games.com
Strange Puzzles (both a good and a bad thing)

One of the joys (struggles!) of the Free Parking puzzle is that it requires the use of information that doesn't even appear in the answer. I need pen, sorry I mean pencil, and paper for solving this puzzle. It turns out that (without giving too much away) grouping people into "parked a block away" vs other locations is indeed a key part of solving the puzzle. I don't know of any other way to solve it. So, rather than those hints being "literally useless", they're absolutely necessary. I'm happy to be proved wrong on this, but this puzzle has proven so challenging that we prepared a PDF, with drawings, that step through the solution. Feel free to email support@eggheadgames.com if you'd like a copy - or, please, provide some way to solve this puzzle without using the blocks information and, of course, without guessing! I think you'll find another 2 stars are well deserved :) Cheers, Michael @ Egghead Games
One small improvement will make it a 5⭐️

That would be awesome! Unfortunately we haven't worked out how to do it. The challenging nature and wording of these puzzles precludes building the Smart Hints we provide in our sister app. However, in case you missed it, there is an "Answer" section below the clues that provides (sometimes quite cryptic!) extra information. Please peek at that when you're stuck. Happy puzzling! Cheers, Michael @ Egghead Games
Poorly written clues, hints are even worse
Response from developer
Thanks for the detailed and thoughtful review. Yes, these puzzles are provided by a different publisher (Penny Dell) than our other app (Puzzle Baron). They have a much greater variety of topics and clues, but even the way the clues are presented are different. Ironically, in my inbox this morning was your review, and another (on Android) saying, essentially, the opposite. I.e. that the other puzzles are anodyne and these are the "real" puzzles. In short, it's great to have choices! Thanks for trying them both.On the topic of hints, yes, this app does not have the Smart Hints of the other app - in large part because the puzzles are so variable and thus it is hard to generate good hints. However, in case you missed it (and I think we need to improve the app here), it does have an "Answer" section below the clues. This can be as cryptic as the clues themselves, but those who love these puzzles tend to enjoy them.Happy puzzling! Cheers, Michael @ Egghead Games
Okay
Brilliant
Many thanks.
